Motel 6 Morgantown, WV

Everything was fine. Good value for the money.

The parking lot was nice and big, no problems getting into and leaving the property. I tried to check the tub drain and it came out of the tub drain mechanism. But I didn’t want a bath so I didn’t worry about it, and left the piece in the tub area. The WiFi worked well with no connection problems. My wife said the coffee at the front desk was very good. She absolutely needs her coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay was ok.. the bathroom door disnt shut and it was hard to get the cable channels to work. They took was clean but not spotless

Good sleep comfortable room

Good. Lobby smelled strongly of incense sticks when we entered. One outlet in the room did not work and towel hooks were broken. Other than that it was quite clean and a bed to sleep in.

We chose this motel because their website states that the location is a 12 minute walk from the West Virginia University baseball stadium. That is a blatant LIE. You actually CANNOT walk safely to the stadium, and it takes at least 10 minutes (if there is no traffic) to drive there. Expedia needs to force this motel to change the information on their website or remove them from their suggested motels in Morgantown,

Parking is easy. Staff were great. Property condition was OK, internet was also ok, but the desk was very small and hard to work on. Price was ok too. It's an OK place to sleep a few nights but if you need a prolonged stay and you also need to work from there you might also consider a better neighborhood.

Location

I ended up not staying. Unruly clientele in nearby rooms, shouting, throwing things, crude language - I knew if it continued I wouldn't be able to get any work done. Then they lost power (not just the hotel, the entire vicinity) so no internet connection. The arguing neighbors continued so I checked out.

If it were a one night stay it might work. No maid service. You get two towels and two wash clothes and a bath mat for entire week stay. No garbage pick up. The fan is tapped together. The power went out for a couple hours.

Do not recommend. There are people living out of the hotel. They had doors open and smoking weed. The bathtub had hair all in it and the tv didn’t work. The room smelled musty and it was just an overall bad stay.

The fact that the rates were way jacked up for the graduation event. $246 dollars for one night!

It’s a Motel 6, zero frills, it does what it does and is what it is. Great location. Easy parking. Hot water, TV, Comfortable bed, clean towels and sheets, great price and Helpful staff.

Room was very clean but smelled strongly of cleaning fluid. The cleanliness was a pleasant surprise.

Price was good Bath fan didn't work, which made bathroom musty

Location was great. The property is dated. The smell in the office at check in was so overpowering that I had to walk out. It was all that was available.

Room was huge and clean. Unfortunately for guests, there isn't any place to safely walk to for meals, although there are several places nearby. High traffic area.

It wasn't bad bad, but for almost $100 I could've stayed at a nicer place but it was close for me. King bed only 3 tiny pillows. No hand towels, no hair dryer no shampoos. Fridge kept nothing cold. (Must hotel Fridges suck anyway)
