Motel 6 Morgantown, WV

Upon entering the Motel 6 lobby to check-in I was treated extremely rudely and disrespectfully by the front desk person. He lied to me saying my reservation was cancelled due to not receiving my phone number from Expedia, launched into a tirade about Expedia, then demanded to see my idea and it revealed that he HADN'T actually cancelled my reservation, but it was such an offputting interaction that I decided not to stay there.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff was attendants and helpful. Good value for the money.

I paid for a king room. But received a two queen room. The walls are thin. Baby next door cried all night. Peoples TVs were loud. I can hear ppl talking two room over.

A very nice and convenient motel.

Great staff, but quite a bit outdated. We booked the jacuzzi suite for two nights, but the jets didn’t work, and the seals deep within the jacuzzi looked, questionable. We didn’t use it but to wash the dog’s paws after a little walk. They have a nice football field & walking trail across the road. Our shower had a pasted over hole that was also.. questionable. Overall, it seemed like a nice family run business. Very friendly staff and quiet/private.

Stop was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and very clean and the bed was comfortable. Not very much in the way of amenities but still acceptable. I slept like a rock. After the day I had had, that was a very good thing. I always find Motel 6 to be of great value

Everything was fine. Good value for the money.

The parking lot was nice and big, no problems getting into and leaving the property. I tried to check the tub drain and it came out of the tub drain mechanism. But I didn’t want a bath so I didn’t worry about it, and left the piece in the tub area. The WiFi worked well with no connection problems. My wife said the coffee at the front desk was very good. She absolutely needs her coffee in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

The stay was ok.. the bathroom door disnt shut and it was hard to get the cable channels to work. They took was clean but not spotless

Good sleep comfortable room

Good. Lobby smelled strongly of incense sticks when we entered. One outlet in the room did not work and towel hooks were broken. Other than that it was quite clean and a bed to sleep in.

I love the convenience to local stores and the college. The cleanliness was very good. I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. The AC unit worked well. The only down fall was the bed was too hard.

Price & location Power was out in several rooms & a genset was running when we arrived. We asked for an extra pillow & were told they couldn't oblige due to laundry difficulties. This was hard to believe given they had several rooms unoccupied due to the power issue - not one room had a pillow we could use? Didn't feel like we were asking much after a full day traveling.

We arrived to be told that they weren't positive the AC was working in the rooms we booked, mind you it is 92 out and muggy. I had to explain that due to having my pups and a friend with a medical condition it was needed. Gentleman at front desk had to have someone check and then had to switch a room up due to it not having working Ac which should have been checked before arrival, payment was processed fully earlier in week. Get in rooms, my room smelled of cigerettes even though it said it was non-smoking, went to take a shower no hot water couldn't be fixed till the morning, which basically was when check-out was!! So all these issues still wanted a pet deposit and didn't even offer a percentage off. Would not recommend!!

99% clean, no odors there was some hair between the fitted and folded sheets the shower drained much slower than the shower head produced water and worst, the staff did not ask for feedback/problems at checkout
