Quality Inn & Suites Morgantown - University Area

Room was adequate. Cleanliness could have been much better. Too many hairs left in the bathroom. Showing plenty of wear and tear. Stayed here since completion was booked. Breakfast was decent.

Everything was clean. The bed was horrible. Felt like I was on springs. Worst backache I have received in a long time from sleeping on it. The bathroom was very small. Exercise room consisted of one elliptical and weights only. Will find a different place to stay next time.

Check in was simple, fast and the staff were very helpful and nice, however we chose to get a non smoking room and the smell of smoke was so bad that I was sick my whole stay. I had a migraine that kept me up all night due to smells. The hotel had a lingering smell of smoke and a mixture of other bad smells. It was poorly lit... especially the rooms. Very outdated and smaller than expected. Breakfast was horrible!! The only good item they had was waffles. They had cereal out but no milk. Definitely wasn’t a hotel I would go back to for the price.

Paid for insurance as we weren't sure we would need all three days. Was dependent on how long family was in hospital. Only needed two days. Was told we could not cancel third day so we paid for 1 night we didn't need.

I did not like anything about the facility. The entire building had an odor and the further back into the hall that lead to my room became worse and in my room as well.

The staff were very pleasant and informative. It was dark and not clearly visible so it was a little difficult to locate. It was the end of a hot day and no fan or air conditioner was turned on. We came late and the smell in the room was off. Then it took us a while for the AC to cool down so we could sleep.

Good location for WVU baseball games. That being said… Room was not clean. There was a contact lens In the sink. Washcloth was brown. Shampoo bottle was used. The halls absolutely reeked of marijuana. Wasn’t easy to get out of the hotel due to traffic.

People outside partying. Could barely get in the bathroom door hits the toilet.

Only 2 ice machines. One was out of order and the other was mostly out of ice. Stayed 5 nights and there was no cleaning service or no check for clean towels, had to go to front desk for more toilet paper. Had to have key rekeyed 3 times. One morning had to wait. On breakfast. Probably won’t stay there again.

Nothing That the pool was stated to be running but then was not.

Breakfast was excellent.

My 2 night stay with my family was good. The rooms were cleaned and beds ready. Bathroom is quite small but doable. Only complaint I have is the hallway on 2nd floor smelled like mold or something of that sort. Also there was what looked like mold on the wall beside the ottoman and mirror in our room. Definitely should check more for that.
