Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Vernon IL

Parking was easy with a trailer, overall good value :)

Sheets had stains, furniture was falling apart, carpet was sticky, etc. Breakfast was very basic.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Easy parking. No elevator.

Quick overnight stop on long road trip. Typical Super 8 experience.

Room was clean. Bed comfortable and bathroom look like it was just remodeled. Breakfast was yummy. Had waffles. Lots of parking well lit lot. Staff came in and helped find tv channels for me. Great stay

The best part of this stay was the breakfast. The carpets are not clean. Our shower curtain needed to be replaced. The ac unit was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. Super 8 was not super at all.

However… carpet was HORRID!! Very old and shoes stuck to it slightly when walking on it… Also, the sheets on one of the beds had a couple stains on them that looked like blood, and it looked like the spaces between and around the cabinets and desk on one wall hadn’t been cleaned in ages. It was fine for one night, but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Room was clean but had a weird smell. The air conditioner looks a bit dirty. The breakfast doesnt any egg nor sausage. The only hot item was waffles which u make yourself

The only thing that I had never seen before was our check-in was thru a kiosk talking with a real person out of Wisconsin (we were in Illinois). It went very well, but I had a hard time understanding everything, so it took a bit longer for me to check in.

Staff was very helpful with the check-in process as I had lost my ID while traveling. The ruin was clean and breakfast was simple with bagels and waffles.

Clean, quiet and close to amenities. Value for money. Excellent.

First key didn’t work then the bed had not been changed. Very dirty. On to another room. Will not visit again

Front desk didn't keep card on file for 'incidentals' and tv didn't have a guide. Mundane hotel

Room was okay. Staff was okay. Parking was in back. When we first arrived a box truck was at the back door. Two men were hauling used mattresses out of the building and it was after dark. I found that odd. Also,the back door, anyone could've walked in without a key. Not very secure for sure.

AC didn't work, was told by the staff to remove the toilet lid just to flush the toilet, and found a listening device under the bed.

Very convenient to the interstate. Clean, with lighted parking lot. Wear hearing aids which contributes to difficulty in understanding accented speech. Nearly impossible to understand the video representative, but the on-site attendant was able to get me taken care of.

Staff was nice but our room smelled and was in pretty bad shape.

The cheapest in the area. Cleanliness, staff. It didn't smell like the pillowcases had been changed. The smell in the whole place was like something heavy had been sprayed to cover musty moldy odors.

Nice place close to the highway everyone was friendly.pool is open know opened when we was here 2 years ago it was not
