Extended Stay America Suites San Jose Mountain View

Nothing. I am not sure who else is rating this hotel but I booked based on the reviews. Very disappointed in the looks of the place, the rooms , the beds are horrible, hard as a rock. The lady I spoke to before arriving was extremely rude. Absolutely not worth the money !! There are other hotels much nicer for just a little more. Go over budget and book elsewhere if you can, I did not and I paid for it.

I liked the close proximity of grocery, pharmacy, Starbucks and Stevens Creek Trail. ESA is also quiet and comfortable.

Internet connection was terrible — avoid if you need it

The location was amazing. It was set back off of the road. You could walk the grounds or walk the Steven’s Creek Trail. N/A

The breakfast is not really a breakfast. It's a grab and go breakfast but nothing to grab except a small commercial muffin. There's not even any fruits at all like banana or apple. What I like is the floor though. It's a wood floor not a carpet, which is easy to spot if its dirty.

Decent for what a 2 star hotel is. Not much offered for grab and go breakfast. Our room was on the side not facing the highway, so much quieter. Room did have an old musty smell. Large closet, large bathroom. Moderately clean.

Very helpful und friendly staff that goes beyond what is expected. Highly recommend.

The staff here are wonderful , I come stay here every weekend due to work and they are always so nice and respectful. The staff members here always remember what I need for my stay , such as paper plates, spoon and forks . The rooms are super clean and comfy .

This facility is clean, comfortable and well located for events at Shoreline Amphitheater. To say that "breakfast is included" is an OVERSTATEMENT. A small room, one table, hot coffee and individually wrapped grab and go muffins isn't breakfast......

Door does not lock and toilet does not flush properly

Did not get the room that I have necessarily wanted I wanted two beds, not a bed and a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa ended up having crumbs all inside of it due to it, not being cleaned by the staff. There was also not an extra blanket for the sleeper sofa or extra pillows so overall it wasn’t that great of a stay and die because I’m handicap I couldn’t keep walking back-and-forth to tell the staff what was going on and the phone in the room was not working

The staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Our door did not lock very easily. We had to slam our door over and over again so that it would catch. I told the staff about the problem and they said they would look into it. Parking was easy. Air conditioning worked well. It’s close to a freeway, so it can be loud if u keep the windows open.

We were given a villa, and honestly, it was very comfortable and spacious. In the villa, the dishwasher and microwave weren't working, and the cleanliness wasn't a 10—it was more like a 7. The breakfast wasn't anything special; I think they're short-staffed.
