Hotel Zico, BW Signature Collection

Overall it was really a nice hotel: clean room, great breakfast.

Property is clean I've stayed in the older rooms, didn't like the carpet in that room carpet looked old & dirty...newer remodeled rooms are nice, no carpet slippers provided love the shower head

The ladies in the Front Desk

Clean, breakfast was really good, they spruced up the eggs,staff was very helpful even the night front desk person who was on a computer screen. I would stay there again. Oh, and it was close to shoreline amphitheater. Not sure I loved there not being an in person front desk person. The people above us were very noisy at 230am and I would have liked to ask someone to go and ask them to be quiet. It happens at hotels, but it felt weird not to have someone on site.

The staff was great, the check in was quick. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are very clean. I also liked the parking lot it’s very secure, and the continental breakfast was fine not a lot of choices but it is decent to start your day. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very accommodating. We had a lovely room that was spacious. Nice cozy lounging area. The parking was a breeze.

We were glad that you could park in a garage that gets locked at night. Turning into the entrance of the hotel was a bit tricky, but we got the hang of it. The bathroom sink was cool, the road noise a little more than we would have liked. Breakfast was okay, though the Mediterranean scrambled eggs were usually cold or lukewarm. The coffee machine was great. I would have loved some pancakes or a waffle choice for breakfast. Otherwise it worked out fine for us and we would stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location it is a very nice property. I reserved it online and I got a message not even one exit away, saying that the manager didn’t want me there because he felt that I had camped out which it was never on the property and instead of talking about it, he made a knee jerk reaction, which caused me a very expensive Uber and an even more expensive hotel because I had to scramble the last second so if it were flagged when I booked it that wouldn’t have been that much of a problem for me, but the fact that they waited until the last second to notify me was not good at all. And I’m familiar with the property of stayed your time times and my buddy is staying at the property right behind it so there is a reason for my decision and because I was thrown in a tail spin at the 10th hour it wasn’t cool and I’m going back down to San Jose tomorrow as of right now I’ve been stuck in Mountain View because they allowed the reservation to be booked and then reneged on it at the last second. So I literally spent half the day feeling very sick just due to stress and it could’ve all been easily avoidable so I didn’t really appreciate that and in the future when you attempt to stay here, just even if things get worked out because of the way I was. And I put a card in I was trying to stay. I was trying to give the money and that wasn’t good enough for them. They had availability. They just chose to not take my business for that. I had to leave a bad review unfortunately because thus far I’ve always had a positive experience there and now because of one manager, I have not.

Breakfast was delicious and staff were very friendly!

The room was clean and there was plenty of overhead lighting. The bathroom was very nice and modern with a walk-in shower and rainfall showerhead. Breakfast was terrible. I had read other reviews that the breakfast was great with cooked to order food. Apparently, that is only if you order room service and pay for it. The continental breakfast consisted of 2 different types of scrambled eggs, toast, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, lemon cake slice, bagels, croissant, apples and oranges. Not much for a diabetic to eat. The hotel is very difficult to find, but there is plenty of parking.
