Our room was clean and the most comfortable of our trim. Breakfast was great, air conditioner worked over time with the high heat and humidity while we were there. Staff was very nice and even called to check on us when we were later then expected to check in.

Suprised by the modern look, will book agin!

Staff was great. Bed was comfortable. Door looked like it shifted after it was hung and there was a gap. Bathroom floor looked like it had not been swept. Towels were on the thin side.

Exceptional

Nothing I reserved a 2 Bed room through Booking. Upon arrival when opening the door to room, I was greeted with a strong, disgusting musty/moldy smell. The smell was so strong that I wasn't sure about staying in that room (presuming we'd just be breathing black mold all night). I went straight back to the check in desk to report this issue. Only to be told they were full, no other rooms available. They sent a worker to room. He sprayed the room with a cheap room spray, turned on air conditioner to help clear up the smell. Didn't help that much . They didn't have air conditioning unit on. That's another reason why room smelled like it did. Not fresh at all. Room looked clean, but clearly out dated. I was very disappointed. The Bed mattress was old, and slept that way. The pictures on website represented, this place falsely. This was not a 3 or 4 star place. Thank God it was only for two nights. The Breakfast was not the best, even if it was Free. I have had better at other Hotel's with free Breakfast. I went back and read other Reviews of this place. Only to read other complaints about same issues and worse, BED BUG MITES in another review. I wish I had done this at first. I usually do. I trusted the rating on Booking. Never again. If this Hotel has been renovated, they did a poor job. The furniture, is old and looks used up. The carpet is old, and need to be replace. Between the bathroom and sink area NO privacy, from bedroom area. I had never seen this in a Hotel room. I was not in this room alone. Needed some privacy. It was late, I should have taken the loss and gone to a decent hotel. The FIRST room they gave me smelled horribly moldy. The floor was damp and slimy. The second room I got wasn't much better but I was exhausted and slept there against my better judgement. I woke up to see that the window was cracked, bottle caps on the floor and an empty gift bag that hadn’t been removed from the prior occupants. I am STILL trying to wash the smell out of my clothes this hell hole put in them. A stay at a haunted house would have been an improvement.

This is a no-frills hotel that has all the basics that you need but nothing special. We’ve stayed there twice and it meets our needs perfectly.

Location was convenient to the university. Easy access.
