Good place to be. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Breakfast was better than just eating just pastries. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc.

Everything was good except the breakfast. The scrambled eggs were very salty. You should only do eggs plain and let your guests add salt if needed. I try to limit salt and there was way too much. The orange juice was watery and didn't taste like orange juice. And they ran out of spoons and forks and it was over 5 minutes before they had more.

Quality of breakfast was substandard. My first experience at Wingate will be my last.

The windows do not open at the property, its just a solid sheet of glass. So when it gets stuffy in there or if you need fresh air, there isn't much you can do about it. Otherwise, its very clean and the staff were very polite and helpful.

I left my credit card at the front desk by mistake after checking in. We were exhausted after traveling over 600 miles in a day…..the young lady at the front desk tracked me down and got it back to me! I didn’t even know I lost it. The accommodations were extremely comfortable for us and our dogs. We even had a doggy area for the pups to relieve themselves. Along with the supplies to clean up the mess right there. We left rested and made it to Florida to start our new life in retirement. Thanks for the awesome stay! Don’t change anything!

Great location for a stop on our way south! Easy access to the highway, which made it super convenient. The room had recently been remodeled and was very comfortable with a nice, modern design. And can I just say… I LOVED the shower! Plenty of hot water (always a bonus!) and the dual shower heads made it feel extra luxurious. Lots of nice perks for a very reasonable price. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great quiet air conditioning and location. Clean room and bed, sheets and pillows super. Breakfast good selection but average coffee, eggs and meat. All good.

The tiles on the floor in our bathroom were starting to wrench loose. So we asked for another room. In that room, only one light in our bedroom area worked.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wingate. We did a no reservations road trip on a budget. For the money, Wingate wins so far. The breakfast was not that great but the pancakes saved the morning. The wallpaper when you get off the wall on the 2nd floor could use a touch up!!

Ease of making the reservation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Liked the decor of the room and dining area. Bedding was clean and warm. Thermostat worked and kept the room comfortable. Very quiet during the night. Liked the self-serve breakfast as it was warm and included sausage, eggs and biscuit. Coffee, toaster and pancakes were all available using a self-operated appliance. Unique. Could see the flooring in the bathroom was loose. The toilet when flushed in the morning had a horrible squeal until the water in the sink was turned on.
