This hotel deserves a better rating than it has. Everything was clean, working, and the staff was helpful. What more can you ask for? Oh yea, the location is amazing too! Right next to food and the freeway. You cannot beat it. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. 10/10! Not to mention the fridge in the room actually worked and was cold. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and that fridge is never cold enough. Thank you!

This is a 2 star motel. It was clean but not well maintained. The toilet roll dispenser almost ripped out of the wall when I used it. The ice machine in the hallway was leaking water onto the hallway carpet. The outlets for charging devices are nonexistent. The bed pillows are the size of sofa cushions.

The receptionist helped me with places to walk and explore during the morning before going to a Celebration of Life at noon. He was very helpful and informative. The welcoming and helpful staff, the comfortable room and facilities, and varied breakfast helped make my first trip without my husband bearable and a positive experience.

Great quiet location but not convenient for getting Uber or Lyft unless there's an event going on. Staff was great and informed us as we were attending a wedding in Spring Lake, near Grand Haven.

The room smelled clean when we walked in. Beds were very comfortable. The smell of someone smoking pot in their room late at night.

Cons: awkward bed frames that jut out so far into the rooms. Poor toilet seal- toilet ran all night. Cracked floor tile . Big hole behind the bathroom door. Broken hairdryer. Do better, please. Room 210.
