It is NOT a minute walk to the boardwalk!! The room wasnt very clean when we arrived and a lot smaller than expected. Room above was smoking weed in their bathroom(which is fine) until it made my entire room smell of weed and nothing was done about it..elevators are extremely slow

It was In a great spot . Family friendly . Easy check in and out process
-
Well located hotel right on the beachfront with a nice pool for kids. Rooms are updated though and very small.

I was told I would get a another parking pass for my party and I was not given one. My party had to pay $27 for parking that night

I went to file a complaint at the front desk, but they told me that if I had any complaints I could reach out to Expedia, because they were the ones I had booked with. I hope this doesn't happen to other people, because it's not fair not to be given the room you chose.

..Preis/Leistung war i.O. Küche und Utensilien waren grenzwertig gereinigt. Tolle Lage hat vieles wieder gut gemacht.

The unit furniture was old and dirty, the pool water ok.

Not a very nice hotel. Doors from the outside and I would not stay there again.

The furniture was old, worn, and broken. Many drawers did not close properly, if at all. Open one drawer, two below it open as well. The sofa bed was thin, squeaky, and extremely lumpy. We had to call down to the lobby for the sofa bed linens, which were old, thin from wear, and stained - to the point that my daughter didn't even use the sheets. The refrigerator leaked and we could not determine where it was coming from. The curve of the shower rod prevented the curtain from staying closed, resulting in water all over the floor EVERY time someone took a shower. Wasted so many towels trying to keep the floor dry and avoid breaking our necks getting in to and out of the shower. The shower curtain was shredded and torn along the top. Four elevators on site, yet you could still spend 15 minutes waiting for one to take up/down. The constant wet floors in the elevator were hazardous. The "keys" we were given at check-in were so overused and stretched out that they easily slipped off our wrists. The pool "towels" were a joke. Basically the size of a hand towel. It's clear the pools aren't cleaned with any regularity. As a result, we didn't use it until our last full day, and that was first thing in the morning. Otherwise, the water was murky, at best. The no smoking policy was not enforced - another reason to avoid the pool. I would not recommend this property. Poor quality and upkeep overall.

The bad or not so great: We had street view in our 1BR unit and street tends to be very busy with cars blaring loud music all day and night The free parking is across the street behind a hotel. The Ugly: we were given a room on the 5th floor. Unit had a weird smell - this is VERY dated, haven’t been updated in decades, couch had stains, carpet is really gross, the dryer and coffee maker needs to be changed asap; not safe to use. This is just our personal observation and I see the appeal for young families with small kids. Hope the homeowner does something about this unit - it’s got good potential. If we had to redo all over again, we would not stay here even if it’s oceanfront. We would choose to stay 5-10 minutes away (around Broadway) from ocean properties.

The room was small. I felt like I was in a cruise cabin. The thermostat didnt work properly. The next time I visit I will not be staying at Bay View.

Staying at Bayview was a bad choice. We had reserved five nights, but left after three. We left early because we couldn't stand being there anymore. Half of our complaints wouldn't be a big concern, but the issues combined made it easy to leave. The room was dated with a lot of wear and damage. We were also missing a bed side table and a chair. The closet door was broken. The shower curtain rod was bent down and ready to break off. No cold water in shower, it was always very hot. The blanket on top of our bed was stained. The next day we stripped the bed to make certain that it would get changed. Removing the pillow covers revealed yellow stained pillows. We had reserved through Expedia, so we verified daily housekeeping. We stopped at the front desk to verify that our room would be serviced. We were told in a rude manner that they will clean our room after three days. I pointed out what Expedia says, and was told that they are a third party, so it doesn't matter. Another big turn-off was on our 2nd night looking out our 2nd floor balcony at the pool area below. People were purposely dropping full unopened soda cans from the floors above. We were told that a little girl was hit by a can two days earlier. This required a hospital visit and stitches. The soda cans were still being dropped the next day. Management didn't show any concern for this. They issue wrist bands that give you access to the building and your room. The problem is that they don't clean them.

Pools were very small, and I wish the outdoor pool and jacuzzi was opened 24/7 instead of closing at 11 pm. Kids took over both pools and hot tub all day.
-
Off the hotel needs about twice as many elevators don’t try to use them around checkout time For the price, I’d stay here again

It was nice hotel. My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t as cold as i would have liked

Clean spacious room. Only things I didn't like was the pools/hot tubs and those elevators. They were very small oddly shaped and not very nice. If you want a place with nice pools where u won't be on top of other people this isn't the place. The elevators were a disaster, not going into detail but that definitely needs fixed.
