Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach

We stay here every summer, friendly staff, great location, and the rooms are really nice and clean.

Location Had to slam room door to shut it and there was sand in the bathroom in the corner where you hang the towels.

The beds were very uncomfortable

The bartender was really nice Staff was rude and inconsiderate and the heat and air needs updated had issues with it all week

The views were phenomenal, the pools were always clean, staff was very friendly, our room was nice. Our balcony door in the living room didn’t lock and the one in our bedroom was very hard to open/close. The pools are very small so you have to time going to them perfectly or they will be too crowded. We also had to ask for a broom, which I feel should be standard anywhere that you are staying beachfront.

The room was small. We had to call the front desk because the refrigerator would not work. There were no chairs on the balcony, we had to stop at the front desk to request them. The elevators were super slow and daily one or more were not working.

Staff, super friendly and helpful. One elevator was down for most of our stay. Parking so far away from the hotel.

Great location. Cleanliness, slow elevator (one was broken on our side of the property), TV didn’t work, lots of noise and running around from kids (family vacation spot).

Location and ease of beach access. I didnt like being on the second floor right above the pools. Was very loud and hard to get sleep

We left on 6/25 at 8:30 am , we was to be checked out on 6/26 @ 11am. T reason we left early was on check in date we got to our room and we tried to start a pot of coffee and the coffee pot didn’t work, it wouldn’t turn on. So I called down to the main lobby at 430 pm on 6/22, about the coffee pot I was told the housekeeper would bring us one up . It was 8:30 pm on 6/22 and we still didnt have a coffee pot . So I called again the receptionist told me once again she would let house keeping know that they had to go acrossed the street to get it . When we woke up the next morning 6/23 still no coffee pot so we left . When we came back at 3:30 and we had a coffee pot brand new [link removed] maker. Then we took a shower and the water was so high in the tub and wouldn’t drain properly. So with my husband being a plumber he took the stopper off and their was a band aide , lots of hair and a used condom in the drain. So he threw it all away In the garbage . The drain works and water goes through good now . I found roach climbing on wall , there was a cigarette behind the night stand in between the beds. There was also gnats all over the room.Our view was of a nasty alley way full of trash not a good view. Was told we was getting an ocean view in reservation . When we got home I was cleaning out our suit cases that I took outside of the porch because of the roach. I brought our clothes in and was shaking them out to wash them and a roach fell out on my floor . The wait time for elevators was crazy we had to wait a long time , they only had 3 elevators working the whole week . With that many people you need all four elevators working . This was so disgusting and disappointing vacation for the amount of money spent . Your website pictures are false advertisement.

Great location Trying to check in was hard with the parking off location. We were put in a corner room with no view but of the adjacent property

Parking is a block away in a garage.

Convenient to the board walk, stunning ocean front? Cleanliness. Someone threw potato chips on me when i was outside. Security was on top of it though

Property was clean & location was the best!!! The pool was just a lap pool! Not a real swimming pool!! Had to use your credit card for the room safe!! Didn’t use it!! No chairs in room either!! Always had to sit on bed to eat!!!

One of my rooms did not have the sleeper sofa as stated.

It was peaceful, and clean. Staff was friendly The slow elevators and that water that drips from that vent in the bathroom

We love the location and the pools and jacuzzis were very accommodating. My family had so much fun. We will try to come back again before the summer is up. The air conditioning wasn’t working the first 2 nights but someone came to fix it. Our refrigerator was leaking but it was due to the ice maker defrosting itself but we had to throw some food away. All of our linen were stained very bad.
