Holiday Sands North On the Boardwalk

Parking across the street was not ideal and there was very limited parking. Building was older and in need of touch up paint, etc. Room on 9th floor ocean view was great. A full size fridge was nice. Bed was mattress on a frame that squeaked but slept comfortably. I would stay here again knowing that it was not the best because the price was a good value.

Amazing property and view

The staff was personable and hardworking, however, the hotel can use some major upgrades. Simple upgrades as replacing the tissue paper cover that is rusted because the bathroom fan is so covered in dust the steam can get out. Some fresh paint will go a long way and also no need for a full-size refrigerator in the room as it takes up too much space and is unnecessary. I was happy the room had floor and not carpet but the carpet on the balcony is gross. So again, some minor upgrades and updates will go a long way to make this hotel stand out.

This is my second time staying here. This is the Hotel I will always come back to from now on. The staff goes above and beyond! It’s super clean and well maintained! Definitely recommend!!

Great pool and location for the price

Love the update of the room, it was nice!

As soon as we walked in, I could tell how run down it was. The hallways and stairwells reminded me of government housing in the inner city. It smelled strongly of Pine-Sol (which can good because at least that means they're cleaning with a disinfectant), but the carpet was so stained and dirty. The walls are dirty and the elevator had me questioning whether or not I was going to spend my first two hours of vacation waiting on someone to get me out. We get to our room and are greeted by two dying cockroaches. The hotel room was clean enough, but for me the stickiness of the ground in dirt on the edges of the furniture was off putting. There was so much dirt along the baseboards I was afraid to put my belongings along the wall. PROS: Cheap, ocean view, private balcony, no pets, amazing water pressure, non-smoking, friendly front desk staff, good amount of storage, plenty of places to sit, fresh linen daily, AC in room, in room safe, quiet hotel, free parking, location is in walking distance of food, shops, and some activities, on the beach. CONS: Run down, no free breakfast (seems to be common in this area), parking is across the street, small pools.

It was good I enjoyed my stay

The staff was nice and helped in a bind with needing a bigger room , however this room looked like it had not been cleaned in ages , dead bugs , rusted appliances, dirty dishes , mold everywhere food on the walls, dirty microwave, broken toliet, peeling paint , wasnt able to sit on balcondy much as it often smelled of cigarettes and weed smell

Great stay for the price

We arrived a bit before checkin time and were super thankful that the staff were able to move rooms around so that we could get in our room upon arrival. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was mediocre. It was plenty big enough but had a very odd set-up with the kitchenette and bathroom in between the two sleeping areas. The stove was rotted and scary looking, but the fridge was cold and full sized! The bathroom was old and outdated, it had a jetted bathtub but the jets didn’t work and the bathtub was stained with the drain all rotted and yuck looking. The door to the balcony was very difficult to open and often got stuck. But the ocean view was fabulous, the pools and pool areas were clean and well kept and the staff were fabulous and helpful. I probably wouldn’t stay here again unless they made some renovations, but the price was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for…. and it was close enough to shops and things to do it was a convenient spot to stay. They do have a strict no smoking policy on the entire property, which they very much enforced even when it was raining and you tried to hide under the awning in the parking area, but rules are rules so be it… definitely not the worst but definitely not the best. The staff are phenomenal though, and truly made the stay better!

They went out of there to fix the mix up with my room I booked i was very satisfied they are very nice

Definitely, the view of the ocean and the palm trees looks very good, but the staff never went to clean the location in the 3 days I stayed
