Windsurfer Hotel

I went a little vacation with both my kids. We had a great time. The hotel was clean and the staff was heat and helpful. The only two things that I had a problem with were one we had a balcony which was such a beautiful. The problem was the air conditioner was leaking out the water which all air-conditioned do. But. It had no where to go so it the water drips on tge outside rug and creates a terrible sludge . There was mildew all over the carpet and it smelled . The carpet can be dangerous because you can slip on the sludge that was forming you cannot go barefoot on the balcony. The second issue was whichbus not the hotels problem it rained for periods of time while we were there so we were stuck i side our room for a few hours. The cable went out a d did t come back on for hours. That was difficult especially stucknon a room with kids that were bored. I'm not a flash person the room was nice. Needs a little updating . But other than those two issues. We had a great time.

Pool was filthy, room stunk, hallway smelled like urine, staff tried to make me change our sheets... but overall that's myrtle beach for you lol.

The room did NOT match the pictures! It was very run down. The stove and microwave were not well maintained (I decided not to use it for cooking). The room was not clean with the exception of the bed (THANK GOODNESS!). Housekeeping asked the first day if we needed anything; I said "no" and did not see housekeeping or evidence of them being in the room for the remainder of the vacation. One of the bathtub knobs was not attached! If I had the means, I would have left to find another room. I smelled marijuana from the balcony at all hours. The location was convenient to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, but that is the only positive.

Pleasant

Second time staying here and the first time I stayed in the newer building. It was comfortable, quiet, and we had a great stay. Already planning on another stay next time in town. Handicapped parking. I don't feel that there was enough with bike week and the number of motorcycles parked under the covered area. But as a motorcycle owner too, I'm glad that I had my bike covered. But my handicapped mother had to walk a little further.

Beach view, friendly staff, nice balcony. Rooms just need a upgrade and new blanket. They listen to our concerns without a fuss. But overall happy with our stay

I love the location. You can tell it wasn’t cleaned properly. Idk if it’s because the building is old and outdated but had a bad smell. And old appliances, tub and sink was dirty. Will not book again.

Beach view was nice, price wasn’t bad, room was decent. Elevator was ghetto lol. Overall we were happy with our stay, property wasn’t as nice as it looked in pictures, but definitely not bad. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Room was okay, but being right on the beach with a great view was a huge plus,

The rooms were clean and the staff were amazing. We stay for a week our housekeeper Caroline went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. We never went without anything. She was always smiling and laughing with us every time we seen her. The other front desk guess were super helpful. There's a young lady that is in there who's always smiling and in a good mood. And when the elevator was stuck on the 9th floor she ran all the way up the steps to reset it for us. Those things are expected to happen. I ride elevators at work everyday and they happen to get stuck sometimes. But that didn't stop us for having an amazing time. I cannot wait to book again and stay with you guys. As this was my 39th birthday and it was the best birthday I've ever spent at Myrtle Beach. Thank you to the people who made my stay at windsurfer absolutely amazing.
