Carolina Winds by Elliott Beach Rentals

The room decor and bedding was outdated, and the beds were uncomfortable otherwise it was pretty clean except the shower caddy was a little cruddy.

We had a great time. Everything was seamless. The room was clean. The pools and hot tubs were clean. If we needed anything at all the front desk was very courteous and helpful. We definitely will stay with Carolina Winds again.

Rooms needed upgrade and better cleaning. Can’t complain about the staff they were very helpful. Great location, close to the beach.

Nice quiet area felt safe. The beach area was not crowded at all. Grounds were well maintained and clean. Room was huge as well as the balcony.

The hotel room layout was excellent! Normally, it’s just one space but this was separated into a sleeping space, full kitchen and living room with doors that closed between rooms. We have been to Myrtle Beach a lot and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed in.

The amenities and property grounds were well maintained and beautiful. However, the unit we stayed in was in dire need of upgrades. The kitchen appliances were rusted badly. The toilet paper holder was missing a piece and couldn’t be used. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The rugs were stained and ragged. Some lamps didn’t work. We were told the management tried to contact us about a different room, but the phone wasn’t working, and we never got an email. This unit is not a good reflection of the overall property. In my opinion the unit (809) should not be rented out without major renovations.

I liked the beach and pool view from our balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend and will return.

When we arrived it was before check in. The front desk staff Shamira and Shanetta allowed us to keep our bags in a secure area so we could enjoy the pool area and lounge while we waited. They also ensured our room was ocean facing per the reservation details and helped us navigate sight seeing. All the other staff were very accommodating and kind greeting us everyday and promptly fulfilling any requests we had. The resort is renovating so some of the amenities were dated and needed repair but I overall the stay was good! I would have liked a better gym facility and a restaurant on site but I’d definitely come back after renovations are completed!

Ocean front view , accessibility to the beach and food great . Everything went well. No complaints .

The beach access is perfect, we enjoy the pool but the room cleaning needs more attention we 👀 roaches in the bathroom.

Bad: The room needs a deep cleaning. There were what appeared to be body or facial hair around the bathroom sink. All corners of the suite were covered with dirt. The room door was filthy on the inside and out.

Overall experience was great and I would definitely book a stay here again and plan too again very soon,

Staff was helpful. Beach view was excellent, room was clean well kept, and the pool was clean seam to be well maintained.

I like the lay out of the room it feels like a little home away from home. Everything was great wish I could have stayed longer

I loved this resort. Me and my husband were amazed at how beautiful the room was and how spacious it was. The balcony view was breathtaking. The pools and jacuzzis were awesome. The only thing I thought really needed some improvement were the beds. They were lumpy. They had a pillow top bed cover on the bed but it would not stay in place, I also thought the TV would have been more enjoyable with a Roku or fire stick.

The hotel needs some upgrades. The beds felt like old springed out mattress and were hard with dips in the center, toilet and sink very short like for kids and the fixtures had rust , coffe pot rusted. Overall remodeling of the units. Pools were cleaned really good everyday along with the hotel ground floor. Rooms needs new furniture. Had a few incidents but were wuickly resilved by staff
