Crown Reef Beach Resort and Waterpark

Honestly only the waterpark and pool. Some of the hot tubs were not on or hot. Check in took about a hour and check in is extremely LATE. I didn’t like that parking was not included either. After visiting the beach we came back to go to bed and shortly after there was water coming through the floor. I wiped it up, went back to sleep, got up again whole floor was wet yet again. It continued until check out. The tv was not properly working. Called and they sent maintenance up, instead of fixing the issue he set it to where he was comfortable. I asked was it fixed and his reply was “live tv works” shrugged his shoulders and left. My kids didn’t want live tv so that was an issue. I also let him know I believed we just needed another remote as the down button was one of the issues. It would not work. There was also a nice size hole behind the bathroom door. I visited this resort 4yrs ago and stayed on the same floor. At the time they said they were doing renovations. Here we are 4yrs later and this stay was worse and only renovation I noticed was the bathroom sink. I was excited to bring my kids as it was my daughter’s birthday but I was really disappointed in the outcome. I feel as though I paid a lot of money to be there and it WAS NOT at all what I expected seeing my last stay was so pleasant! I was truly let down and I feel I would like to do it again under better circumstances to show my children how comfortable and pleasant our stay SHOULD HAVE been. Last we visited two were young and barely remember so I was looking forward to making great birthday memories with them this go round.

Everything we needed was on the property we where there to celebrate my baby’s 4 the birthday durning our stay we saw the Shark and I wanted the kids to see him I called the front desk and was fortunate to have Ms Laytoya the GSM answer my call I asked for his schedule and when he would be back out she went out of her way to try to find his location even though she didn’t have to when she found out he went in for the day she sent a card a salty cup and arcade cards to our room she made our stay that much more special thank you Ms Latoya for you kind efforts they went further then you know….we stayed in room 420 and our housekeeper was awesome she was older with dreads I didn’t catch her name but praises to you ladies for the effort you put in to making our trip memorable we will be back soon Some of the lines where superrrrr long at the slides

I had no problem's was a little worried after reading reviews never heard of paying for parking tho but even paying for parking total price was still worth it! Enjoyed every minute of it!

Very family friendly

I was able to get there early and got my room facing the ocean, it was exactly what I wanted. The low points would be them charging $15 per night for parking! I cant remember any other hotel in all my travels that charge

I like the pool and the direct beach access but other than that, there are better places to stay in Myrtle Beach for what I paid. Also the check in representative was rude and lacked professionalism.

Everything was great from the parking deck to the pools and lazy river.. the atmosphere was excellent and being able to walk right to the beach from the condo was great. Definitely would come back Having to come back home....

Property was not the cleanest. For an older place, some might expect it but a lot of little things that could be done to improve it. I would not stay there again.

The staff was friendly, but our initial room lacked blankets, towels, and sheets, and it wasn’t clean. There was sand on the floor left by previous guests. We were then moved to another room, but it had a leaking ceiling and smelled like smoke, even though no one in our family smokes. The food and drinks are over priced. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

I liked that it was right by the beach and very convenient to places to eat and play golf.

The sound in my room was so loud that at first, I thought someone was vacuuming. I later realized it was coming from a machine, and it was especially noticeable at night, making it difficult to relax

My kids absolutely loved this place.

My grandchildren loved their waterpark and we were beachfront. Will be going back next year. A lot to do outside of the resort.

Nice clean rooms with a great view of the ocean. Excellent water park facility. We had no delays in check-in, and check-out was also fast. We will definitely consider this hotel for future trips.
