The room was clean. They put me in a building where the elevator wasn’t working. I had to continue to walk up and down four flights of stairs. Each time I left the room I had to take the flights.

PLEASE read entirely!!! My low rating comes from the response I received from the front desk. My stay was compromised by my back pain after loading the lobby cart & finding out (1) the elevators aren't working. I'm honestly too tired to drive back to the receptions bldg. A 3 flight climb. The following morning as I was leaving for lunch (2) well fed raccoons jumped out of a trash receptacle. (3) This was bldg (H) of The Holiday Inn south beach vacations of Myrtle Beach had a flooding issue combined with a backed up on 09/26/2026 an awful odor just hit our noses as we tried to navigate avoiding the receptacle w/the raccoons. I had back surgery Dec 8, 2025 I truly should've put my bags back into the car and left however my son asked for a trip to MB & I did my best to bring positive energy to a bad 1st impression. Their response was we ordered the part over a week ago & you know we can't control shipping. That's true but, you could've warned me or at least issued a room on the 1st floor or established a houseman for check-in & out. No charge or a future stay when the issues of your property are resolved on the house.

Location, rooms, staff, room service, access to Beach, access to airport, shopping, restaurant all the amenities everything you could ask for from resort 10/10 Elevator wait times are the only thing I can say should be better but other than that everything else was spectacular

What I liked most about the property was its welcoming atmosphere, convenient location, and overall cleanliness. The property had a unique charm that made it feel comfortable and inviting. One thing I didn’t like was that some areas in the room could use a little updating or improvement.

How big the resort is I didn’t realize there was a presentation to join the resort’s vacation program. It took hours a lot more than 90 mins.

Everyone here is absolutely amazing! This trip was perfect and the front desk staff are beyond words! Jennifer was an incredible help in making our trip a success! Already have my next trip booked here, it checked all my boxes and I am extremely picky about where I stay!

Great location! The room was clean and comfortable! Several pools located on the property including a lazy river. Being solicited for a 90min timeshare presentation which lasted well over 2hrs
