Beautiful property!

I vacationed with my 75 year old mother, 22 year old grad school daughter, and 17 year old athletic son. All four of us like quite different things, but there was something for everyone at The Ellie and plenty to enjoy all together as a family (beach, slides, adult pool (so nice), putt putt, evening pier walks)! Someone commented in the reviews that the property is retro—yes, it is!! Go in with that mindset, and you’ll love it. Retro but clean with updated rooms and bathrooms, just as you would expect from Hilton. The staff was fantastic, friendly and responsive. We took two beach umbrellas and a couple floats, and we were set for a few days. The beach is easily accessible and not crowded. This was one of my favorite beach vacations in the US. Can’t wait to take my husband next time! Please note that parking is $15 per day. There is also a $35 per day resort fee, but Hotels.com already adds that in, so don’t get surprised when you’re checking in. Just enjoy, and have fun!

Really Nice Hotel and amenities! Great for family trips

I really enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful and clean.False advertising on ju l y 4th about food all day on lawn, this food was 25 dollars for 1 hot dog and 1 burger. Also when husband could get desk to answer about cabana rentals no one knew I f any where available then stated already reserved.I sat next to 3 all weekend with noone in them,it would of been beneficial for my breathing issues and over all health. My advise would be find the correct answers rather than lying because you don't know..I will not return as a guest because they wouldn't take extra step to help a client.

Everything was nice, would definitely stay again. My son loved the slides, pool and splash pad.

Me gustó mucho , aunque no tiene mucha variedad en la comida y los precios un poco elevados 6 nuggets sin papas ! Fritos de hace horas y chiclosos 40 dólares ! Es mucho ! Fue la única mala experiencia!

The resort was ok, and overall I was not too disappointed. The check in was some what confusing. There is a Doubletree side and an Ellie beach side. I went to the Ellie beach side because that’s where were. I walked up and was told I wasn’t in line that she was going together was next. It

I wish that on the website it mentioned that the Ellie side is family, while the Double Tree side is the adult side. It would have made my stay a bit better.

All good

Only complaint was they closed the pool down do to a storm and when they reopened it, they never reopened the pool slides. We were there 2 nights and both nights the kids never got to use the pool slides even though we were in the pool. Kids were not happy.

The hotel and the pool areas were great!! You should not advertise putt putt!!! The putt putt course was terrible and wasn’t even playable! It is in terrible shape, all the grass/ carpet torn and coming up,stagnant water and hardly any light for evening/night time play!

Pools were beautiful, staff friendly, great selection of food and beverage choices! Bartender Jeff was fabulous! Will be back!

The waterpark (slides, pool, kiddie pool) area was wonderful! Very family friendly. Staff was kind. We loved the pier as well. Had a flatbread from the restaurant that was great. The only thing we noticed was the walls were thin. We could easily hear our neighbors who were not loud people. Definitely a disappointment considering how expensive it is to stay here. But overall we loved it.

So far the best resort we’ve been too. I loved it and we had so much fun. I can’t wait to go back.

Great service nice resort all around

Our biggest disappointment was the room quality. While it appeared to have been renovated, the work felt rushed and cheaply executed. The tile work and finishes looked sloppy, and overall it seemed like the room received a quick cosmetic update rather than a true high-quality renovation. It simply did not have the feel or attention to detail we expect from a Hilton property. The king bed was also extremely uncomfortable and left us waking up with back pain each morning, resulting in some of the worst sleep we’ve had on vacation. We chose this property expecting a premium experience based on the Hilton name and pricing, but the room itself fell well short of those expectations. While the location is great, the overall quality and comfort did not justify the price we paid.

I was led to believe that everything listed on Booking.com was the total price for a stay. Too Pricey and with the unexpected $450.. hold was never listed. Pay for parking?!? Breakfast was listed on Booking.com as included. I asked the hostess and was told, water, tea or juice was complimentary. Breakfast came after you paid for it. Booking.com might want to update the Ellie Tapestry fees, amenities and account holds places at check in. We were given a bracelet to wear so we didn't have to pay to walk out on the pier........

If you must stay at this property, head for the adjoining Double Tree which, telling from the common areas and outdoor landscaping, is far cleaner and more comfortable. Maybe I’m expecting too much for Myrtle Beach but for the cost and the fact that this is a Hilton Tapestry property, Hilton has a ton of work to do to fix the issues at this hotel.
