checkin process was not as expected, I booked hotel from hotels.com and I pre-paid parking fees. At reception, hilton staff charged parking fees again.
-
Don't bother calling for room service or housekeeping, they won't answer so you have to leave your building to walk 100 yards to another building to ask for towels

The accommodations were excellent, and my family had a wonderful vacation. The only downside was that it was very humid by the beach. After staying for two nights, the bedding felt damp. Other than that, we were very satisfied with everything.

The parking fee could have been cheaper, especially when the parking is free right across the street.

Everything we needed in one spot! We loved it here

An overall great stay at the Double tree by Hilton Myrtle Beach resort. It's a good place to bring the family. The access to The Ellie's water slides was great. The pier offers incredible views. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous.

Beach view was awesome but air conditioning struggled to keep up it was mostly comfortable but would have preferred colder!
-
Nice hotel, clean, I will back for my next trip. Highly recommended.

Perfect location. Beautiful pier and restaurant was great. Lazy river didn’t seem to be working well. Elevators were not all working. But everything else was great! And yes, I plan on going back!
-
We payed for ocean front and got a side view. Did not liked the shower, after about four minutes into the shower the water only got hotter and hotter regardless of how you adjust it. Did not like taking hit or miss showers..

Needs updated. Staff was friendly. You don’t really see many.
-
Loved it. 5 days on the beach with a great pool.

The stay was okay, except for the airplane flying overhead at various times. Other than that the Double tree was okay. Will use it again.

I was worried about the room, but to my surprise no bug, very clean. The only thing that was wild was being woken up by the sound of a 747 at like 4 am flying over our heads. Check in was annoying at night hard to find the check in. There is a staircase with a building in the middle of the two hotels, and the check in desk is on the second floor which is not accessible by elevator. lazy river pool was very cloudy, I think the people and kids in it peed a lot. I didn't go in it for that reason, not clean. I would stay there again.

I am currently in a dispute about the service, the charges, and my entire experience with this hotel during my stay July 10-12, 2026. I have been in communication with them over the past three weeks, and to date, there has been no resolution. I normally do not do reviews, as I recognize the damage that reviews can do to a business. However, this experience has rated the highest on my list of bad experiences and I have not had anyone to rectify the request for a refund. I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel until the customer service and management are properly trained on hospitality, customer relations, and customer service.

The property is very run down, dirty and grounds had scattered trash. The high pitched/ rumbling constant airplane traffic noise was over the top. Room was small and bathroom was beyond tiny. Food at the restaurants was poor. Property did not feel safe. I’m always satisfied with Hilton properties except this one. Me and my family will never return to this site.
