OYO Hotel Myrtle Beach Kings Hwy

This is a low rent room. Do not have high expectations. One bulb in ceiling light, slow barely flushing toilet, long wait for shower water to get warm, and doors show violent past residents. WIFI works, AC sounds like a diesel, Staff was helpful

This is my first time traveling to Myrtle Beach and I would definitely not stay at the motel ever again! Everything look old and dingy in the room. The TV kept going in and out the door had a gap so I was scared. I kept my chain on the door.

Hotel needs to be updated, especially the stairs. And the doors to the rooms definitely need to be updated, had issues with opening and closing it could not be secured with the bottom lock. It only had a chain up top to secure door.

Fresh towels whe.n I asked for. Was very nice in polite about it. It got to other motel to find out my reservations had been canceled. They found this hotel motel for me within minutes, this was Priceline through booking.com. Was a little bit more but it did not take long to find. Also was credited the price difference through booking.com..

When we got there we were expecting to pay a deposit in case we messed up anything but there was also a daily charge and for 2 nights it ended up being 75$ just for that then 100 on top for the deposit after i already paid around 220 for the room itself on expedia, the water was cold, the bottom of the shower filled up with a foot of water before we got done with our cold shower, the tv worked but only with the remote that only turned it off and on and you can’t change the channel, and no the tv didnt have any buttons, the one good thing that came out of it was the pool

Rooms did not look anything like the one on the booking .. was not told about 130 dollars deposit. Was told would get it back at check out but only got 100. Told me 30 was for service fee. Meaning parking at hotel i m staying out will not stay here again

The exterior of the building was dirty with peeling paint. Ext door beat up dirty. The center of the floor was clean the edges dirty. Furniture was scratched up and not clean. The air conditioner was load but working. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean. Bathroom bare but ok. The whole room smelled of stale smoke in a nonsmoking room. I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.
