I sleep great here. What type of matress do you have?

It’s an older place so don’t expect anything fancy but the beds were comfy and the AC did a good job keeping the room cool. The the people were all friendly and helpful and it’s right on the beach.

The Vancouver motel is an older beachside motel but it was very clean. Lynn, running the place was outstanding. Excellent customer service. I had an oceanfront room. Wonderful view of the ocean. I would definately stay here again..

Perfect spot to get to the beach! The lady at the desk was very sweet to my daughter. I would definitely stay again!

Such wonderful staff. Cupcakes at the front desk with dog treats for the pets. Superfriendly to me and the fur babied.

I love everything about this property. The woman who runs it is the nicest lady ever, and I love the new curtains, decorations, and I can tell the amount of work that’s been put in since my last stay. Truly amazing hospitality. There is nothing not to love about the Vancouver.

I didn’t mind at all that the property was outdated. My issue was with bugs inside the room, very little hot water, nearly non existent water pressure, and intoxicated people yelling outside my room at all hours of the night.

I love that I can get a balcony on the beach and that it is pet friendly. The other guests were also friendly.

This motel was the worst I have ever stayed in. The popcorn ceiling was literally falling. The non-smoking room smelled of heavy smoke! The view was non-existent which I had actually paid extra for. It looked like mold, but can’t confirm it was mold. The sheets were clean but could feel coils in the mattress!! Oh, sand in the tub, toilet did not flush properly, and we were never able to find regular stations problems with the connection! We were booked for two nights and would have left the first night but had no where to stay so we left the next morning. The office staff were very kind and they did refund our second night stay! Save your money and do not stay in this motel!

We liked being able to bring our pets. This was our 3rd time staying here and it seems to go downhill a little more each year.

This is a retro motel, which we enjoyed. The room was SUPER clean with the best part being it was pet friendly. The staff, especially Lynn, was the sweetest lady. We were served cupcakes on Friday & given a Father's Day bag filled with goodies. The pool was sparkling clean every day. The laundry facilities need to be replaced. We requested the ground floor, but none were available, so we had a third floor room. While the view was gorgeous, there are no elevators, so the steps were a bit much for us. The staff told us on the second day that we could move down to the ground floor, however since we were already set up and the view was so gorgeous, we just stayed where we were.

Old and run down - think 1970’s roadside motel

Don’t let the initial appearance deter you from choosing this hotel. I spent 7 days there with my family and 2 dogs. This is the place to stay in to rest your head, take a shower and make some breakfast. What you pay for is the people there who truly love you like family. Popsicles for the kids , Father’s Day gift for my husband. Plus you have a view of the amazing ocean!

Right on the beach Beds not very comfortable and pets loud at times

Our room was in much need of complete refurbishing. The stove was very dirty around knows. Dishes were very old and no organizing. The floor had grim and dirt between tiles. Bathtub ...So much soap grime you could scratch your name in it. Our beach view was great. The elderly lady at the desk was very nice. We did not complain to the staff but I do feel management should look behind their housekeeping staff because they are taking shortcuts.

The owners are wonderful! Fresh baked treats, any problems they do their best to fix them immediately, pets welcome, and child friendly! The pool was scrubbed and cleaned daily the cleaners were very sweet and accommodating when requesting extra towels and pillows. Only a few floors which was amazing! Walking distance to walk to the beach barefoot! What more could you ask for?!? Looking forward to our next stay in Oct! We were booked for the landmark which we have used every year but this year we will be returning to the Vancouver Motel!!

A clean basic room in an older style motel. This is not a Holiday Inn or Hampton, but it's much cheaper with clean rooms, a larger than normal refrigerator, microwave, a nice pool, and located with easy beach access. Extremely friendly desk staff who will supply ice when you ask for it. It is also pet friendly if you have a furry friend to bring with you. No breakfast, but there are a lot of places to eat nearby.

We always love staying here. The staff is always so friendly and makes u feel like home. The rooms are always clean never find a bug either not even a hair left in the tub etc. it’s perfect size for us a family of four. Kitchen fridge beds bathroom. Three years in a row we have stayed here and will be back another year. It’s not one of the newest fanciest places but it’s down to earth and family friendly we take hospitality over fancy any day.

Loved the ocean front and the price was very reasonable
