The hotel is a bit dated, but clean and most appliances worked fine. The mini-fridge was the smallest I've seen a hotel. The breakfast was somewhere between a continental and a real breakfast. The main item was waffles. The length of the breakfast was a bit restrictive: 6-8am. There was no oatmeal, meat or eggs. One attraction for me for this hotel was it offered breakfast, but there was little I normally eat and not much I wanted to.

Breakfast was good. Wish it was longer. 800 is too early to end. Pool was closed, vending machine ran out of bottle water, drinks were warm, breakfast ended too early

There was human and pet hair on the beds and the staff put us in a different room which was way dirtier and we requested a refund but they didn’t allow it.

The young man at the front desk was great The room was nasty as hell

$20. Extra for a “dog room”. Furniture and doors were chewed, urine stains. Door lock was broken. No No No

To the 3rd floor. When we got to the room it was dark and dingy and not the suite I had reserved. Went back down to the front and told the young man we had been given the wrong room. He said that is what I reserved and they didn’t even have suites at the hotel. I argued with Hotels.Com for 2 1-2 hours trying to get my money back and more important find a new hotel. During this time I missed rehearsal dinners and time with family. After 2 1-2 hours we ended up going back to my sister in laws house which was already over flowing with out of town wedding guests and they generously let us stay because there were no vacancies anywhere!! I was promised a higher manager would call me Monday morning at 9 and “ make this situation right” but wow big surprise!! No phone call!!

The beds are super uncomfortable.we had a king size bed with 3 small pillows that were. Sink and shower didn't drain. We had 2bath towels 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. It's very close to a processing plant and smell was awful. Pool not available due to some nearby construction. You cant have any visitors nobody but registered guest can be on premise.

Fixtures falling off the walls. Loose faucets. Pillows as this as a saltine cracker Thread bare sheets. Worn out towels. Staff that have appeared to be waiting to die. Doors that have been punched out and dented. Filthy carpets Smoke detectors that are covered up with zip lock bags. Unrepaired holes and patches on the walls. The toilet seat was falling off. Hall lighting decor and effects taken from the movie Barton Fink. The best "We don't care hotel" in Boise.

Not pet friendly and will call cops on you

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Awful. Pool was closed. Rooms are dirty. Breakfast was garbage. Even the vending machine for cold drinks didn’t work. The smell from the “whataburger” next door was choking.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The price, location and room were fine otherwise.

Was close to the freeway and my exit destination to go out of state back home Very sketchy people walking in. My bathroom had the toilet seat broken my friend almost fell in due to a wobbly seat and the toilet paper stand was loose. Hair all over the bathroom when entering along with dirty sheets showing on the side of the bed and cracked walls everywhere. Bed was very squeaky. When I tried to check out at 1:30am to leave since I had to drive 13 hours home the desk man was sorta rude.

    Not good

I know this is a 2 star hotel, but I remember Rodeway being a basic, clean stay. My room had food stuck to the floor and spilled in the microwave. There was something on the bedspread that could be removed with a damp cloth, suggesting it hadn’t been laundered. The flooring had a tear that caused a pointed piece of vinyl to jut up. The mattress was thin and hard and the bedding thin and inadequate. There were stains and mold in the bathroom. This was a room where you are careful not to put your bag on the bed, and wait to shower until you make it home. I will definitely not stay here again.

    Just across the interstate

The staff was good, friendly. The location was good in relation to my travel time for work. The room was not even close to the pictures online. Not just the colors of everything, but the room, chairs, etc. All different than online. The beefcake looked like it was from ikea and was gonna break under me. The comforter had holes in it, looked like it'd never been washed, and smelled the same. I slept on the bed with a sheet. Felt like fleas or something was crawling on me at night, didnt sleep well at all. The whole place smelled musty and just not clean and sanitized as it should. The breakfast was some yogurt and hot cereal options. It was pathetic. I stayed at a best western for 2 nights before staying there and I WISH I had done it that night as well. I wanted to cancel my reservation and choose a different hotel. But I suppose that's why I had to pay up front with no refund option, so they can get me once but never again!!

The first room they gave us had white spots on the comforters that appeared to be fluid like and there were boogers on the wall in the bathroom. The wall paper was peeling and it overall was truly disgusting. The second room was slightly better but still didn’t resemble what I consider clean. We checked into the second room and then went to find a cleaner option. We ultimately checked out and didn’t even stay. Also, they advertise a pool and the pool wasn’t even cleaned or open, it had a cover on it with a lot of standing water and debris.

This hotel is quite spartan; thin towels and too few, bed cover/duvet too small for the bed itself, screaming noisy showerhead, worn out pillows. Housekeeping is by request not by schedule, (one has to ask for clean towels, shampoo and soap, bed linen change, and cleaning). A sign stated that rooms were cleaned every 3 nights (4 days) but our bed was not changed and the sink, shower and toilet had not been scrubbed (when requested it was done). The breakfast bar ran out of food 30 minutes before being scheduled to close and the coffee machine gets cut off then too. Hallway carpets drastically need replacement (even a good vacuuming would help), windows are filthy even in the entrance and exits. The entire property shows lack of maintenance and care. The staff is friendly and accommodating however but the operation remains a "get it yourself". As stated - the "Rodeway Inn & Suite" in Nampa, ID is sufficient for a quick one-nighter but in our opinion anything beyond that travellers should probably look elsewhere.
