Red Roof Inn Neptune - Jersey Shore

The reviews I read before booking said it was clean but dingy. That applied very well. The stairs leading up to our room were well worn and in need of repair. During our stay they were in the process of replacing some of the furniture. Housekeeping came through everyday. I notified the front desk in the morning that our body wash dispenser was empty, and it had been refilled before we returned that afternoon. They are clearly making an effort to improve the property and that is a very good thing.

Be prepared to pay a $100 deposit on top of what you're paying for your stay. The full amount will be remitted upon check in, not at check out. Apparently your $100 will not be refunded for 7-14 days. You'll find this out upon arriving, not when you book. Shady

hotel was close in distance open at a late hour of checking in The bed continually made a noise when getting on/off or rolling over on the bed - like the bed was hitting a pipe !!

The front office was so screwed up. They didn’t know it was coming to going. They gave me the wrong room and then the right room until somebody came in and saw me half naked and said this is my room and I said no it’s my room come on.
