Residence Inn by Marriott Neptune at Gateway Center

The kitchen was great!

It was 8 minutes from Neptune boardwalk. We had a problem with the tv in our room, we were moved to a new room immediately. Rubin was the best, very nice and helpful, he upgraded our room which was great. The only person that put a damper on our stay was a blonde haired woman that worked the night shift, she was just not nice and seemed to be very annoyed when she had to get up to unlock the front door, as my key wouldn’t work. Otherwise everything was great, especially the amazing breakfast. We will be back!

I loved the suite with 2 rooms. Quite and the air conditioner working good. Breakfast was good, clean tables. I recomend this place. Was my first time in the place, I will come back. I loved to play 🏀 basketball.

Need to address the Cable system asap. Not having the cable working properly when are limited because your here on a long stay is a huge issue.

Room was fine but the bathroom needs updating. No shelf to put glasses or other items while showering, toilet tissue had been embossed, but it left residue on many layers underneath, toiletries in shower were at an odd place so you kept banging elbow on them while showering. Room was kind of dark due to location in back, but it was quiet except for person on second floor stomping around late at night/early in morning.

A lot has changed I have been coming for years. I grew up here. It was very convenient for me to stay here. Easy access to things I needed to do. The first day I could watch tv and the rest of my time there no tv. I stayed for 6 nights and I was told by management the tv was out and they were working on it and we would be compensated for inconvenience even the staff at desk stated. I was bill regularly and my flight got cancelled on Monday morning and I had to pay $334.00 for the extra night. That was more than I paid when I booked for a day. You pay for convenience not for inconvenience. You are on vacation and should be able to sit back relax and watch TV. When you run a business you need to be true to your word.

Clean Loud. I was charged for stay by manager after telling him I already paid you 3 weeks earlier.

The heating/cooling system (HVAC) was not working correctly. The front desk sent the engineer to check the system. His response, the system was not working correctly because the return air duct for that room was too small for the unit and it would take hours to warm the room. He placed the thermostat on 75 degrees and left, the temperature never rose above 72 degrees, the temp outside 50 degrees, we used the oven to take the chill off the room. I reported the issue to the front desk again on the day we checked out. I will not stay at this Residence Inn again

Location, amenities, staff all were excellent. The ventilation, heating system and windows situation all get a zero. Also the cookware needs to be replaced or upgraded. We could open the windows properly and the heat was not regulated.

My daughter had her 15 year old slumber party here and her and her friends loved it!!

Had a great time, clean room, staff great. Always wonderful to stay here.
