Red Roof Inn & Suites Wilmington - New Castle

Check in was great, nice staff, and clean lobby. One of “two” towels in our room smelled like chemicals and left white lint everywhere. There was a necklace left hanging on a hook in the bathroom. This was a quick night affordable stay but would not pick here again.

Right off the highway. Linen seemed clean. Manager quickly changed our room when we reported it smelled like smoke upon arriving. Clientele is questionable, arguably sketchy. Can tell they’ve tried to maintain the property but it’s pretty far gone. Many entry doors are ajar making it not feel safe.

Room was clean. Was a lot of pot smell close to front desk and vending machine area. Doubt I would stay there again Pot smell

Overall nice place. Good area sand felt safe.

Light in bathroom not working. Had to speak to staff through glass, sometimes difficult to understand. Sign at front dest showing Wi-Fi password was difficult to read. Hand written. I took photo of it to my room and still had to go back to the desk for assistance.

Location: It was difficult to find this hotel, using GPS directions that did not match local road signage for Routes.Quick lane changes in heavy traffic, caused me to go over the DE Mem Br into NJ which did not help me check in at the Hotel in DE.

This was the worst hotel my husband and I ever stayed at. The bathtub was in very bad condition. You could not take a bath in the bathtub. There 3 large rust spot in the tub. The tub drain was worn out, so we could only take showers. The carpet was very old in the bedroom. This was the first time my husband and I ever stay at a Red Roof Inn, and it will be our last time.

Location Dirty , could not get a towel “ because housekeeping doesn’t come in until 830 am” The smell of large amounts of bad air freshener in the room was over powering

Went to check in and they wanted to charge me more than what I was quoted and informed me I went through a third party so I have to take the situation up with the third party. I contacted the third party and they contacted the front desk of the hotel, the young lady lied to the people on the phone about our interaction with each other. The pool was under maintenance which wasn’t stated on the website or the third party site and I specifically picked a hotel that had a pool. The act like they could not give me more towels and washcloths. Then it’s one hotel with 2 different names and they charge different prices depending on what name you book under. I will never stay at this hotel again.
