Alder Hotel Uptown New Orleans

The staff was AMAZING. Especially the tall guy who helps people with their luggage. He was very authentically.

The staff was so helpful and friendly and went out of their way for us.

It was a central location able to walk for food recommend The High Hat. The free parking was very convenient and it wasn't. too far from the cruise terminal or the French quarter.

I stayed with my boy who attends the Tulane for 9 days until renting a house. It was a good location to search for the new place and to buy stuffs. Especially I parked the car at the hotel’s carpark in front of the hotel, though it was an open space not a garage but very convenient. Thanks for kind staffs!

The staff is so friendly, parking is super convenient and walking distance from many area restaurants, The Alder is our home away from home!

We started staying here in 2018 and the Alder Hotel has become our go to for when we are in New Orleans. Free Parking, close to EVERYTHING. You cannot go wrong if you stay here. There is always security and ALL of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel decor is mid century modern. Very cool look. The staff was super friendly. The room was clean and the free self parking was a plus in a city where you pay to park most of the time. We will be back!

Nice hotel

Very clean & spacious room. The hotel staff was very nice. Had free parking across the street. Its only 15 minutes from the Port Of New Orleans. Definitely will stay again

Free parking! The room was a nice size and clean. The king size bed was comfortable. Web special was under $100 and it was quiet. Will definitely book again.

The hotel was the perfect location for our visit with Trader Joe’s and good restaurants nearby. Getting to the French Quarter or Magazine Street was a quick drive. The staff were very friendly, the price was good, snd it was great to have free parking on the property. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is very nice and quaint. It’s got a throwback theme to it, and it’s very comforting. The parking lot across the street is a nice touch, especially in a busy city like New Orleans. My room was well maintained and inviting. The bed was very comfortable, especially after a long night of partying. I highly recommend it!

Loved the fun & funky lobby area, & the self parking lot directly across the street from the hotel is incredibly convenient. Most (not all) of the staff were helpful & considerate. The hotel isn’t in an area which I usually frequent in NOLA, but was fairly close to an event I was in town for. They did accommodate my request for a quiet room, & it definitely was, on an upper floor, not too near the elevators. There is a Trader Joe’s & several cafes / bars within walking distance. I would recommend the Alder Hotel if you need a decent place in that area with free parking

Easy self parking in a hotel parking lot.

I do not recommend this hotel at all! The room had no redeeming qualities at all. The balcony is a joke. What’s the point of having a balcony if you can’t even smoke on it? The green walls are hideous. After taking a shower, water leaked out into the room.

Spacious rooms; comfortable bed; top rim of shower dirty/mildew. Great location. Loved that parking was included & safe!

Love the location and the staff.

This hotel had been a favorite of my family’s for over a decade. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel is always clean. Staff have been the nicest and always helpful to point us in the right direction. It’s blocks away from Magazine Street and all that it has to offer.
