Hampton Inn New Orleans-St. Charles Ave./Garden District

Pretty enjoyable hotel. Staff was pleasant and helpful enough when we needed information.

Stains on bathroom walls, and carpet. Front desk staff was average.

Staff were friendly. Our room, fitness center, and pool were all clean and operational. Good location on St.Charles Ave. Street car access is right out of the front door. Will definitely stay again on future trips to NOLA.

Everything was fine with my stay except for 3 staff in particular were rude & unprofessional Latrice hotel front desk manager, Allen maintenance guy, & breakfast attendant lady👎

Helpful staff

Courteous staff and clean rooms The employees were courteous and helpful. However, there is a lack of communication amongst the staff. I would be given instructions from a prior shift and when I would follow up like I was told to the new staff had no clue what I was talking and the process would need to start over again. This happened 3 separate times. It quickly showed a pattern. This made things more complicated and stressful on top of dealing an medical situation. Also we had a very hard time communicating with the cleaning staff. They knew no english and would just giggle when asked a question.

There is no airport shuttle as stated on the listing.

Second time to stay. Great location, nice, comfortable rooms. Love being able to park our car and only steps away from the St. Charles Trolly, which takes you to the corner of Canal and Burbon St.

The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast. However, our shower was clogged and was never repaired during our stay. Maintenance never came to address the issue, so we had to use a friend’s room to shower before we could continue with our day.

The property was super clean and well maintained. The room was also really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fairly standard hotel breakfast but the lobby it was served in was spacious and really nice. The property also felt really safe. The external doors locked at 8pm and you needed a key to get in and you also needed your key for the hotel and obviously the room.

The pool water was a little hazy and the breakfast sausage was burnt to a crisp. The rest of breakfast was pretty good.

Inn fare but kept hot and plentiful. Coffee pots were always full and hot.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay as it was unclear to me during reservations which Hampton Inn & Suites I was reserving. I needed to be at the location, also near/on St. Charles St, that is closer to Bourbon St (French Quarter/Downtown). I had hoped to transfer my reservation but couldn't. Hampton Inn may want to improve their description of the property location to make it more obvious where the building is to people unfamiliar with New Orleans
