Property was beautiful. Stay was peaceful. Staff were super helpful and location is great. Everything is walking distance so you can come and go easily without a taxi. Would absolutely stay here again.

My room was wonderful. It was just the right size for a solo traveler and had everything I needed. It was within walking distance to everything I wanted to do. The property was secure with no access unless you had your room key. I really enjoyed the "old" french quater feel with the courtyard and entries. The only request I have is that there be bottled water in the rooms. There was a kerug with coffee but no tea or water. I would happily stay there again if I return to the city.

Our group booked multiple rooms at the Inn on St. Ann for a weekend trip to New Orleans, and from the moment we arrived, the experience went downhill. When we got there, the hotel was locked with no staff on site. After calling, we were told we had to walk a couple of blocks to another property just to check in. That's also when we found out our group was being split between two different buildings, something we were never told in advance. The biggest surprise came when we discovered one of the rooms at the Inn on St. Ann had a collapsed ceiling, making it unusable. The room I was given at the other property was in unacceptable condition. The bed and sheets were stained, the smoke detector was missing, and there was mold in the shower. After seeing the condition of the rooms, our entire group decided to leave and book accommodations elsewhere rather than stay there. While the guests whose room had the collapsed ceiling received a full refund, I was only refunded for one of my two nights, even though we left the property entirely after the first night because of the conditions. What disappointed me almost as much as the rooms was the complete lack of customer service afterward. I never received a phone call or email from ownership or management apologizing for what happened or attempting to make things right. I've stayed in many hotels over the years, and this was easily one of the worst.

First, the rooms are very small, but that was manageable. Had an outside balcony room above the courtyard. The door didn’t fully connect with the floor so pests could easily get in. Put don’t some towels to block it but that wasn’t enough. Dealt with lizards and roaches. Ended up checking out early because I picked up a piece of clothing and saw a lizard scurry away and when i moved a pillow a MASSIVE roach was on the bed. That was enough for me. Wouldn’t recommend, would never go back

The hotel was awesome. It's skit between a building and houses on the street where Marie Laveau lived The room was nice, high ceilings. There was an outside door as well as your room doors. The place was secure. The location is great right near Congo Square and waking distance to Bourbon Street. The cleaning staff were great and friendly. I used Pinocchio transportation to get there from the airport, just one transfer. It is close to the street car as well. I would recommend!¡

A quiet retreat in the heart of the French Quarter. The staff was very nice and the location was amazing.

My room was very clean. Great helpful staff 24/7. The room is small and very bare bones. I know they didn't display otherwise so it is no fault of anyone, just that you usually expect at least one or 2 amenities even if it is a 3 star place. For example, no microwave, no mini fridge, not even 1 water bottle by your bedside, don't even think about free parking considering youre just outside the french quarter. 10 minute walk to the gas station if you want to buy water. It really just is a small room to sleep in, place your luggage in the small closet, and have a restroom with a small shower and that is it. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness tho. Nice patio to sit in outside too. I would staying here if you need something low budget right by French Quarter

Everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. I stayed in a full-size room with the bathroom a few steps up at the foot of the bed. The room had a safe and Keurig-style coffee (I didn't use either), plus bottled water and ice. The complimentary lobby coffee each morning was fresh and surprisingly tasty. The bathroom had refillable shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles that were empty when I arrived, so I used my own soap. I'm sure they would have refilled them if I had asked. The bathroom is small, especially the sink area for your personal item. This is a historic building with lots of old New Orleans charm, so don't expect a modern hotel. I stayed on the second floor, which required climbing a fairly steep staircase. There were also stairs to a third floor, though I'm not sure if there are guest rooms there. One thing to know: you'll need to call the posted phone number when you arrive since someone isn't normally at the front desk except during housekeeping hours. Overall, I felt safe, loved the walkable location, appreciated the friendly staff, and would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location! I stayed across the street from the main property. It was quiet despite being in the French Quarter. It felt safer because you needed a hotel card to access the courtyard. The staff is friendly and smart. I strongly recommend!

It is an older Inn and the distance to everything is what drew us there. Pro’s- close to other places. Digital key entrance, even though we had to call the front desk at the other Inn to figure out how to work it. Really hot water. Con’s- you can’t control the air conditioning. There was a coffee maker in the room with 2 bottles of water, but we couldn’t get it to work properly. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. There was random glitter all over the room. Other people staying there would come back around 3am and gather in the courtyard and wake you up being loud. Basically we paid for 3 nights, but only stayed for 2, and chose to stay at the Roosevelt Hotel the last night to be able to get some decent sleep. Maybe a good stay for younger people wanting to go to the clubs all night.

Some interior upgrades could help take this property from kinda nice to charming. A hole in the restroom wall stuffed with tissue doesn’t quite bring the charm one would expect. Some simple decor and a working tv also would make it seem worth the cost to stay here. The temperature was fine given that I could not adjust the ac unit as there was no remote control. But if you don’t like a cold room, I would reach out prior to arrival to ensure the temp in your room can be adjusted. The location was perfect and staff was helpful and friendly. The courtyard where my room was located was so charming. I felt safe and heard no noises from other guests. Used the digital key app which showed a 1pm checkout time which was confusing when staff came by at 11 to clean the room. Expedia does have an 11am checkout time but I think the property should ensure this is clearly communicated since it does give a different time on the key app.

While the staff were absolutely amazing and the room was a good size, my main complaint about the room I had was the additional ac unit constantly needing to have the water container emptied. The maintenance crew were very attentive with handling the request to change it out whenever needed.
