Best Western Plus French Quarter Courtyard Hotel

Unfortunately, I can't recommend anything about this property. The experience was very disappointing from start to finish. The room was very dirty. I found crumbs on the small table and under the desk. There was a strong moldy smell in the room. The air conditioning was extremely loud. On top of that, the ventilation door wouldn't close because of the mold and humidity (see attached photos). I honestly don't understand how this place has such a high rating with such a huge gap in quality. It's way overpriced and doesn't even deserve 1 star. Very bad experience. Luckily, I only booked one night for my family. I would strongly advise against staying here.

Management was amazing

This is a charming place that keep the historic structure of the French Quarter, but has all the standard ameneties that you would expect, the rooms are good size and super clean, has a fridge, good bed and pillows. The hotel has a cute bar and restaurant. The breakfast was amazing, so many options. It is 3 min walk to bourbon street. I would definetly stay there again.

Comfy beds friendly staff

we loved it! rooms are little musky but i guess everything in new orleans smells the same, but we had a great stay beds are comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic!

Pool was dirty. Cloudy water . Room first day we enter smelled like a combination of bleach and pesticides chemicals . AC was loud making difficult to sleep . We checked in at night and the receptionist seemed they hated there job . No hospitality

This is our third time staying here and we love it. Friendly staff, clean, good location and great breakfasts. Can't find anything negative about this hotel.

The breakfast was amazing, one less meal to buy. Ms Darlene was very helpful and sweet, we were in very close proximity to the french quarter as we walked everywhere and it only took us 10 min to and fro. The downside was that, the hotel was in a rough neighborhood with a good amount of homeless people. Also, the pool was decent but the smokers choked the air as they filled the small space that shares the pool and courtyard. The rooms were decent, not sparkling clean but good enough to feel comfortable if you’re not too picky. Overall, I would stay again for the breakfast, ease of location, and it was pretty affordable compared to other hotels on the area. We are from NYC so the roughness didn’t bother us too much.

Central location close to French quarter, secure parking in the courtyard, good breakfast AC was noisy, not cooling the room and most units were constantly leaking creating large puddles on the floor. Elevators were hit or miss sometimes.

Property was ok at best. Very aged and not what ai expected based on the photos portrayed. Elevator super small and old. Had small bugs crawling on night stand in room. Will never ever stay here again.

Location Slow WiFi, rats everywhere, dark hallway with no view

This was a great place to stay that kept with the vibe of the French quarter. From the front desk attendants to the cooks, everyone was friendly and helpful threwout the entire stay, offering up suggestions and directions with maps. 10/10 if im staying in the French quarter, this would be the place!

The room needed repairs in several areas....thanfulky we weren't in the room much.

Staff was helpful and the hotel was in a great location. Hotel is walking distance from Bourbon. street and the market place. The continental breaks had good options The only complaint is the room. It could have been cleaner, toilet paper and towels were not replenished and ; however, the room was not serviced twice. We had to specifically ask.

very good breakfast, quiet rooms and comfy beds. Ms Tracy at the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable which was very helpful. Room overlooked the courtyard which was beautiful. location to public transportation routes

Loved the staff! Met some actual new friends! Very helpful and the hot full breakfast was WORTH setting your alarm for even after a full night of NOLA shenanigans! Only one thing - the ice machine (there was only one per floor) was far, far away and ran very slow.
