Well, the good. The price was right. The housekeeping lady was nice and helpful tmThe maintenance man was awesome. Good old Louisiana native. Had an issue with the door latch so I couldn't get back into my room. Had to wake up the Night Manager. He had to call Maintenence Man out of a sound sleep to get me in my room. Had to tone me down, cause I talk a Lil lound, cause my hearing is shot. He got the right tool and got me in my room. Thank-you again . The night front desk clerk/manager needs to wake up this is the USA if he doesn't like working at night, maybe get someone who can stay awake. They also need to dump that nasty smelling dumpster. Place was secure to park though.

This is OFFICIALLY my NOLA HOME!!! EVERY TIME I'm here on my motorcycle I NEVER have to be concerned about ANYTHING! The gate! The bus straight to wherever I want to go and it runs ALL night! Cheap and clean works for me but the EXTRA amenities to include food and beverages just steps away is HEAVEN for me!!! Thank you expedia.com!!! I love my new NOLA Home! See you soon!!!

I booked and paid for a stay at this hotel based on the 4-star rating assigned to it on your platform. Naturally, a 4-star classification creates certain expectations regarding cleanliness, comfort, hygiene, and overall quality. Unfortunately, the reality was completely unacceptable and far below even the most basic standards. Either there is something fundamentally wrong with the criteria used to award a 4-star rating, or I genuinely do not understand what “4 stars” is supposed to represent anymore. Even many 3-star hotels in my own country offer conditions that are ten times better than this establishment. At this point, I do not know where the fault lies. Either Booking.com is being misled by this hotel, or customers like us are being misled by the ratings displayed on your platform. As a result of this situation, I was forced to cancel my reservation and was charged a $105 cancellation fee. I find it unacceptable that I should suffer a financial loss because of such a misleading listing. Someone needs to take responsibility and compensate me for this loss. It is obvious that the hotel itself will not do so. Therefore, if Booking.com also refuses to refund this cancellation charge, I will permanently delete the Booking.com application and reconsider using your services in the future. Thank you. Staff was nice and room was clean.

It doesn't look like much but it was a great stay! Air conditioning worked great. Room was clean. Great shower pressure. The little food mart outside the gas station in front is awesome! Really couldn't ask for more. Great value for the money.
-
Good value for the price. The room was comfortable. Gated entry and free parking a plus. Location not so desirable.
-
Took a few minutes to get used to. Not a bad room. Long. Rather bland. Took too long to figure out the shower. The directions are on a sticker on a window where you check in. Gated. Needs to be. Not a bad side of town, just a neglected side of town. Great if you're tired of driving and need a place to crash. A cheap way out of expensive hotels for Mardi Gras.

Secured behind a locked gate. Staff were nice. AC was cold. Very bad location. Very basic, no frills.

Worked for what we needed
-
They’re making an effort in a tough neighborhood by locking the parking area. Room itself is fine but missing some usual things: tissues, cups or glasses, shelf in shower for soap/shampoo, light over bed reachable from bed. Toilet makes gad awful sound when flushed.

The staff was caring and attentive and happy to be there I loved everything
-
Everything? It was well kept and cared for, clean, comfortable: the bed felt like a cloud and the pillows were a great mix of supportive and soft. The storage cubbies and table surfaces were more than sufficient. I was nervous about staying IN nola, the gated property eliminated that and I felt as safe as in my own front yard. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful. I know now if I come back to new Orleans where I want to stay every time.
-
Staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. I was worried about all the good reviews. However, if I stayed longer, I would’ve stayed there longer. You can hear the interstate. It was pretty quiet there otherwise. It’s not far from downtown. There is a convenience store right next-door that serves food even breakfast. Well worth the price it’s not perfect, but I sure couldn’t complain having stayed in some awful places. It does look pretty new like they just redid everything. Don’t let the old-school comforter sway. The gated parking is a great perk. I picked this place because of the reviews, the cost, and the free parking.

Staff was very nice and helpful.
-
There is a store right at the entrance that’s convenient. The security gate makes you feel real secure. Comfy.
-
Not a bad place to stay on the cheap. The parking lot is gated. There are lot lizards asking for rides. Be careful. Check-in guys was awesome. Very friendly and was very joyous. Remote control batteries were bad. He provided a replacement remote that worked. Shower was a bit cold but it was a cheap place to stay near the French quarters.
-
Check in was quick and easy. The guy working the front desk was very nice. The room was clean and the hotel is gated so you feel safe. Will definitely stay again.
-
Yes, inside locked gate
