Ramada By Wyndham Brooklyn Empire Blvd

This is a motel, not a hotel. Check in clerk is behind bullet proof glass. Hotel smells like a combo of smoke, urine and homeless people. Room was tiny, TV didn't connect to anything. Internet barely worked at all. Shower doors didn't close properly. The air conditioner was great tho.

The stay was really Nice.

The only downside is no microwave in room, but other than that it was a comfortable stay and close to many stores.

I didn’t like a staff member showing up at my door telling me it is checkout time and then calling me,

I appreciated how accommodating the front desk person was. I didn’t have to pay a deposit and extra 20 for early check in. My room however smelled like cigarettes and I didn’t like that a staff member told me it was check out time and I then got a call when I was not being quick enough.

NYC hotels are a hit or miss at this price point. The room was clean but the strange thing was the old school TV with local channels only. Breakfast was offered but the eating area was very tight. Overall, if you just need somewhere to lay your head at night this hotel works.

Pris and Cons: The outside looks run down. The lobby is super hot and musty, but the rooms were nice, spacious, clean, up to date. The staff was friendly. All in all, I would book again.

Good place to stay close to transportation and areas in Brooklyn. Good breakfast

The staff was friendly, and aside from a few stains on the sheets, the room was generally clean. There was uncontrolled noise in the hallway in the middle of the night.

Room clean,but small. Parking alittle challenging, but overall enjoyed my stay. We'll stay here again.

The housekeeping staff were awful. They left me for 5 nights without clean bedsheets. The way it started was for two days I ask them to just dropped off clean towels Toilet paper and blankets. The reason was because my daughter was recovering from a foot sprain. She had been given a few days off of work and needed the rest. The third day I asked that they clean the room and they did not. The front desk helped and sent some sheets and towels up. But the housekeeping staff ignored the call for a cleaning. I am fluent in English and Spanish. And during one afternoon. I heard one of the housekeeping staff tell the other that they had given her a new room to clean at the last minute... I overheard the other staff member tell her "dont do it, leave it undone" maybe they didn't realized that I am a Spanish person and thought I was white. Ive been confused by others before. So they did not realized I understood what they were saying. I need you to know who your staff is... I hope that when you hire housekeeping you vet them well. They were just spiteful people who are there for the money and do not care about the work they do. And ill tell you this... I worked in a hotel for many years and treated people with respect. I understand they thought I was a person of money. However, this was a place I picked for my daughter to heal. It was not a vacation. Thank you to all of your front desk staff for a wonderful experience. However, please work on your housekeeping staff. I stood at 107.
