It was clean and comfortable bed. Great breakfast. The staff was beyond accommodating for our needs. Wife ended up in the hospital the night before checking out. They worked with us as far as checking out because we didn’t know when she would be released. Great staff. Helped us through a very difficult time. We live 1500 miles away.

We love the hotel (from previous stays), but we were VERY disappointed when they called us when we were on our way there to say that they were overbooked and thus canceling our reservation. We appreciate them booking us elsewhere, but sure would have expected some form of at least token compensation, given the same day nature of this inconvenience!

It's an older building, so some dust buildup in corners and an aging bathtub with small cracks, but overall clean and perfectly usable. We are repeat customers.

The room was beautiful and super clean. The breakfast was average, and someone needed to be more attentive to when things were empty – like plasticware, bacon, creamer. Breakfast hot dishes did not look very appetizing, and there was no one around the area to ask about the hot dishes.

Clean, lots of parking, middle of town. The room was dirty and the carpet was gross. Also, this hotel is wildly expensive for what it is. Not worth it.

Tried to check in at about 12:30 knowing it was early and told if I want an early check in it would be $30.00. So if I don’t pay my room is not available but if I do pay it would be available. I have traveled extensively during my career and never came across this before. It doesn’t make any sense if the room is available for check in. I will be avoiding Holiday Express if this new policy.

There was also nobody to ask if they would be bringing more food out. The 2nd morning we got up an extra hour early so we could get something to eat. We were there at 7:45 and the selection was great. We also saw someone sticking up the yogurt fridge
