billed as a luxury boutique hotel, this outpost on US 1 that is 20 dollar uber ride from new brunswick is anything but. i was the only (overpriced) guest until 300 electrical linemen showes up in advance of nor'easter. no bar, nor reataurant, thin walls, faux lux materials. staff was nice enough but the vibe was strange.and the value not there. stay here if you need shop at the nearby walmart before heading into NYC.

This hotel shares a lobby with an Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, even in the middle of the night, the hotel smells of Indian food. The carpet in the room was dirty and after killing a roach on the floor, I got little sleep with one eye open!

An ok hotel to sleep the night at while passing thru. Long hallway to the room, no shortcut but the room itself was comfortable and spacious enough. A funny smell in the hallway (from the restaurant?) Walmart across the street, however fence between so you need to go around.

The lobby had a very strong smell from the Indian Cuisine Restaruant that is also in the hotel. This smell permeated the halls as well. The actual room was not as pungent, however it had a musty smell to it. The grounds are not well kept. This is not somewhere I would stay again.

Sparkling clean, but spare, room. Shopworn general facilities. Very convenient to cousin's location.

This hotel needs a facelift. Furniture and carpets are pretty old

Paid in advance on Hotels.com....showed up and clerk wanted "mastercard" I paid with...first off I dont have any mastercards...then he swiped my visa and said it didn't go through....Gave him my AMEX and he said the same...I had him run AMEX again and it went. Later that night I checked my bank and the Visa DID go through and they put another $110.00 hold on that card...Looked at my AMEX online and saw the $110.00 hold there too. If me and my son weren't so tired from the day we would have ran back out the door...maybe their vacuum was broken but didnt look like it was done in weeks. Even wrapped our pillows with t-shirts before laying down... Upon checkout, I asked for a receipt and was refused to be given one...even by the manager!! I then said since there were no additional charges I wanted the hold removed from BOTH of my cards...Manager said he could not do that, it is done by corporate?? so now who knows how long there will be a hold on BOTH of my cards! Ridiculous. Never again will I stay at a Clarion hotel.

Roving young people talking too loudly in the hallway. No blankets in the bed. Telephone not hooked up.
-
Location Room was very far from elevator. The room upstairs is not handicap accessible. Too expensive for the quality and service.
-
Convenient, clean and courteous.
-
Food that was supposed to be hot was cold at breakfast.
-
I booked stay the same day wife and I decided to spend night out , had a great stay reasonable price
-
The shower worked.
-
Location was acceptable and close to restaurants.

The hotel had a terrible odor and the matresses were the worst we have slept on. Needless to say we had very little sleep. We don't normally complain about our hotel rooms but this was the highest on our scale of bad hotels and where we would never go again.
