Cedar Shore Resort

It was after the 4th of July by a couple of days when we stayed but there was a rain storm for about 35 minutes and water just came pouring into our first floor room. By the look of the ceiling and damp feeling in our whole wing of the hotel it wasn't the first time and wont be the last. I just worried about mold after that and it was hard to focus on anything else. There were a lot of lights out and just general things that were off.

The key pad not work. Door was open all the time. Security lock on the inside of the door was ripped off. Non smoking room smelled of old smoke. Included breakfast is only for 2 people even if there is more guests.

The room was clean but the entire place seemed to be lacking maintenance. While we there the hallway ceiling was leaking and the front window too. Just needed some TLC

Was a great stay and the attached restaurant was great price.

My husband and I just stopped here for a night on a long road trip. We were so pleasantly surprised at the quality of this resort! Since it was just an overnight stay, we didn't get a chance to use the marina or spend a lot of time here; but, if we were in the area, we wouldn't even think about staying anywhere else. Our room was spacious and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly. We had a full breakfast (with a complimentary voucher), and the service and food were very good. It was so nice and comfortable here, that we would incorporate additional days into a future road trip, in order to enjoy the amenities here.

It is a very nice resort on the Missouri river. The hotel was well kept up, friendly staff, with a great view! All this for a great price

Floor was a little dirty in hauls and room. Rest of room was good. Breakfast was great. Check-in was easy.

Very accommodating to our 30 plus family gatherings. The staff is very friendly and professional. We plan on another reunion and will return to Cedar Shores.

Room with a view of the Missouri River. What could go wrong? Our neighbors beat us to our patio chairs and were there for 6 hours. No worries though; the bar/grill was superb with beer, food and service. A must stay!

Liked everything, check in staff was excellent. Lounge staff was great as well.

For upkeep, our bathroom fan was very noisy, the door to the bathroom didn’t lock correctly, and we had several lightbulbs that were going bad so they would blink. Finally, as for amenities, the beds were not the best, but the sheets were awful. They felt like plastic.

Room was.decent but I was supposed to get a room in resort so I guess expedia is to blame on that but I got one of the old ki da run down cabins. Not bad it was a decent bed and quiet. No amenities on that side if the street

The back deck overlooks the river. Beautiful place to unwind after a long day of driving.

The room was not very soundproof and the plumbing was loud when the neighbor was showering.

Waterfront location... Amazing views... Pet friendly... What more could one want?

Everything was smooth, no issues during the stay

The location is wonderful, the outdoor areas are great. Being outside by the river is beautiful. The rooms, lobby, pool, etc. could use an update.

Staff went over and above to help me.
