The Inn at SOHO Square

It was very close to to beach and playland amusements, easy 2 minute walk to everything. The train runs directly by the hotel a few times a night so it gets pretty loud. Did not have local tv stations but did have Netflex.

C’était bien pour quelques jours (2-3) nuits, mais le motel est juste à côté d’un chemin de fer alors la nuit le train passe très tôt le matin… c’est pas très agréable, mais sinon c’est pas si pire pour le reste.

Our room had a kitchenette. The fridge was a basic, small hotel size. They don't provide dish soap, dish towels, paper towels or the standard things that usually come with a kitchenette.

SO close to the beach, perfect for a quick 24-hour getaway! There's parking available which was a huge bonus, and it is close to the train station if you'd rather take Amtrak. It is on W Grand Street which is busy until pretty late, so if you are traveling with babies or toddlers who wake up easily to foreign-to-them sounds, this could be tricky (we use a portable white noise machine for our youngest). Overall it was a great stay, super convenient, and had everything we needed for a 24-hour getaway!

I had a fantastic time at the Inn on Soho Square during my visit to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The location was perfect—just a short walk to everything I wanted to see and do. The room was spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t hear the train at night, which made for a peaceful stay. I’ll definitely be returning 100% for another great experience!

Clean Room

I would highly recommend this place to stay. Your right with in walking distance of shops, restaurant's, carnival rides , the pier and the beach. With live music playing daily and fireworks on Thursday you can see at the beach across the street. Definitely will come back again!

Dirty bedding, unclean bathroom and poorly maintained furniture. Didn’t even stay the night. The woman in reception’s as very helpful however and very pleasant when we left early.

Hébergement très bien situé, à deux minutes de la plage, avec stationnement. Toutefois, emplacement bruyant (rue passante, motos, train qui passe plusieurs fois par nuit dans la cour, etc.) Propreté correcte, mais disons que le derrière des lits semble servir d'endroit pour cacher la poussière et les autres petits détritus (nous avons trouvé entre autres quelques Smarties). La salle de bain tombait un peu en ruines, le support à papier de toilette était dévissé du mur, le plafond montrait des signes évidents de dégâts d'eau antérieurs et aucun mouchoirs offerts. La table dans la chambre n'était pas solide du tout, il n'y avait pas de lampes de chevet donc très sombre. L'espace café était intéressant, bien que nous sommes arrivées et qu'il n'en restait presque plus, au même titre que le thé qui brillait par son absence. Nous avons apprécié avoir accès à la piscine du motel voisin. Le hic majeur est certainement le confort des matelas, qui sont vieux, très bruyants et très creusés au centre. Lorsque nous avons questionné l'employée à la réception, elle nous a répondu sèchement "qu'ici, les matelas étaient comme ça". Nous avons demandé s'il y avait des solutions, un recouvrement supplémentaire en mousse par exemple, mais elle nous a rapidement coupé la parole et s'est montrée très fermée. Nous avons très mal dormi et pour cette raison ainsi que le manque d'empathie du personnel, on ne séjournera sûrement pas à nouveau à cet endroit.

en quatre jours pas vu aucun staff venir vider les poubelles passer le ballet dans les chambres car ont passe la journée a la plage sa serais bien de les voirs très decu car ont allaient là toujours sa faissait six ans qu`ont était pas aller

Hotel room: its old, clean room. Awful bed. No hair dryer in room (have to request). Bad sound proof. When the train passes by every hour (through out all day and till late night and after midnight) YOUR WHOLE ROOM SHAKES. Expect a few night of losing sleeps.

Each room are not equipped and not properly equipped electrical plug-ins outlets. Bathrooms, each showers head need changes because not clean some are rust and molded. Older Rooms need upgrade because the rates are so expensive. Customer service are not attentive plus error in issuing the receipts. Overall this soco inn needs upgrade in each room specially the door. The only good is closer and convenient to all stores and beaches. Once this Soco Inn remodel and upgrade This is a good place to stay Thank you for your quick attention and kind understanding

We were meeting friends, so we booked the "deluxe two room suite." It was much smaller than pictured. The front room had 2 outlets, one with an extension cord to the fridge and microwave. The other was by the door, for the AC and coffee maker. That's it. Also, there was one small, dim ceiling light over the fridge in the corner. No other lights, because no other outlets. In hindsight, you can see that in the pictures. As long as you don't need to charge anything, or see anything, it's fine. We also did not realize that there was parking for only one car, even when there are 2 rooms. We were threatened with towing. Our friends risked it and were fine. We figured that they would not actually pay the contract with the third party tow company based on the condition of the room. We had to pull out the drain plug to get it to drain. The floor was very soft under the lino in the bathroom. There were only 2 towels for 4 people. We didn't shower anyway, by morning we just wanted to leave. Our neighbor guests have been coming here for 20 years, they really like it.

New linens were very much appreciated. Very tight squeeze in the room. Air conditioner was very loud. The staff was good Ana was awesome. Great location. No real room to sit on the deck on the bottom floor as everyone walked past you and there was only a foot and a half between the deck chairs and the railing.

We liked the location! Walking distance to everything!

Mattresses don’t fit the beds, the shower was backing up as you showered , 4 people 2 sets of towels the bathroom could use a major upgrade

There were no curtains in my room, only poorly working blinds, so the sun came right in first thing in the morning.

Clean motel, parking available, ac working, 5 minutes walk from the pier....in front of a nice place for breakfast .
