The Inn at SOHO Square

If you're a light sleeper, you will have trouble with the trains passing thru the night since the tracks are right behind the place; also, there's quite a lot of noise from the pub across the street. Room itself could use a few touches, like a place to put clothes, wet towels and toiletries in the bathroom (no hooks or bars) and insufficient light in the room--no bedside lamps and only a small overhead light to one side, which made reading hard. The small table provided was a bit rickety and unbalanced.

Location, location, location. My 13 yo grandson and I stayed for 2 nights. Room is clean and functional and close to everything. They do need privacy curtains as the blinds do not block the lights on porch.

Walking distance to everything downtown. Only downfall is if you have young kids, would not recommend staying here. There is a bar across the street and the train coming through each night. Otherwise for the price, the room was a decent size and very close to the beach.

Pricy for the quality.

Wasn't the cleanest of places on one of our rooms had blood on the sink so that was a nice start. Location couldn't have been better within walking distance to anywhere. Overall it was a good night away.

La chambre est propre et à proximité de la plage, ce qui est très apprécié. Moins apprécié : nous devons demander pour le ménage de la chambre et le changement de serviettes & le train situé juste à côté. Expérience tout de même très appréciée. Ce fût un beau séjour.

The bed was not clean. It was sand still on sheets from previous guests. The shower had no pressure. The staff wasn’t even there when I had to check in

Great location for the price. Could use some updating. Have stayed here a couple times and will stay again. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful. Has a pool but never used it since the ocean is across the street. Close to everything.

Great location but hotel needs to be updated. Only half the outlets worked , one of the outlets didn’t have a cover on it and the light fixtures didn’t work . Staff was ok. TV also not great.

It was very close to to beach and playland amusements, easy 2 minute walk to everything. The train runs directly by the hotel a few times a night so it gets pretty loud. Did not have local tv stations but did have Netflex.

C’était bien pour quelques jours (2-3) nuits, mais le motel est juste à côté d’un chemin de fer alors la nuit le train passe très tôt le matin… c’est pas très agréable, mais sinon c’est pas si pire pour le reste.

Good location, clean comfortable, good wifi. Right near the beach poor plumbing( had to keep the flusher to the toilet down to flush it all the way. Staff was not helpful when asking about additional parking, didn’t offer any suggestions, not enough towels in room had to ask for more . 2 towels in a family suite of 4 people. The website does not tell you that you had to share the pool with the hotel next door which was extremely crowded.

Our room had a kitchenette. The fridge was a basic, small hotel size. They don't provide dish soap, dish towels, paper towels or the standard things that usually come with a kitchenette.

SO close to the beach, perfect for a quick 24-hour getaway! There's parking available which was a huge bonus, and it is close to the train station if you'd rather take Amtrak. It is on W Grand Street which is busy until pretty late, so if you are traveling with babies or toddlers who wake up easily to foreign-to-them sounds, this could be tricky (we use a portable white noise machine for our youngest). Overall it was a great stay, super convenient, and had everything we needed for a 24-hour getaway!

I had a fantastic time at the Inn on Soho Square during my visit to Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The location was perfect—just a short walk to everything I wanted to see and do. The room was spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised that I couldn’t hear the train at night, which made for a peaceful stay. I’ll definitely be returning 100% for another great experience!

Awesome being right across the street from the ocean Parking was very challenging esp having a minivan. The space between the fence for the train and the building and where cars parked became almost impassable at times.
