Mt Royal Motel

The motel was not as clean as I would have liked. They need to warn people of the train that goes by at 3:30 am.

Un séjour très agréable le personnel très sympathique .la chambre quand même assez propre. Petit bémol avec le plancher. Mais nous y retourneront .

Berra at the front desk was amazing at helping my wife and I with questions and did her very best to accommodate us any way she could.

Easy check in regular room . I rent here for the convenience. Nothing spectacular. Stayed here Aug 2026 and they were digging up a big hole in middle of parking lot smelled like ashalpt bad for my two days there. Others then that stay was perfect the pool is our favorite

Room was clean, staff was nice,parking was convenient and AC was good.

Says it’s right on the beach it’s not says there was a jetted tub in the room and wasn’t for the price we paid wasn’t happy

Great location, quick access to the beach, awesome pool, and amenities :) Had a blast!

We loved the pool and the staff were helpful but not always available. Coffee was good. It is surprisingly quiet at night, considering the location. Our only problem were not enough power outlets in the room. Very nice to have parking so close to the center of Old Orchard Beach.

Everything was ok. The location was ideal, but it is right next to Palace Playland and the train station so do not expect to get a good night’s sleep. Especially not on weekends as the walls are made of cardboard so the conversations outside felt like they were happening beside my bed. We didn’t mind that much though as the air conditioning drowned the noise. We had to clean the air conditioner filter and empty the coffee trap as it had not been done it at least 2-3 months. The location is ideal and the kids loved it so over all good stay.

Our stay was great. The room was nice and had a few touches we didn’t expect. The proximity to the beach, shops, palace playland was great. Only downside, was there are trains that go right behind the building and there were no blackout curtains in the windows so you got the flashing lights from palace playland going until around 10:30pm

It was OK pretty noisy between the railroad tracks with the train and you’re in a section where there is a lot of noise all night long so you have to be prepared if that’s what you really want plus there was no hot water for the shower. A little dusty could’ve been cleaned a little better and could’ve been updated a little bit better with things they didn’t have water cups or enough soap or Kleenex.

Fun d’être dans le centre ville près de la plage mais le passage du train a tout les heures dans nuit rend le sommeil difficile.Donc le lendemain la petite famille est très marabout

Close to the peer,and. Food courts

Obviously the building is older but our room was clean and had a newer bathroom faucet and vanity. There was plenty of hot water for showers and the AC worked well. Given it's location, directly across the street from the roller coaster and the train tracks directly behind the property, the noise was not terrible. There was direct access to the beach right across the street which was so nice! I would stay here again.
