Not very clean, kinda run down property

This property was a clean stay, rooms were nice and beds comfortable. Somewhat noisy with the trains going through. Breakfast was good. My biggest issue though was the pool. Was a nicely warm pool, but I was concerned after both my son and myself accidentally discovered an uncovered suction drain that had a very powerful,violent pull/suction to it. It left a very noticeable mark on my son's back the rest of the evening. There are other holes around the pool that shoot warm water into the pool. This suction area looked similar to those but this totally open, exposed 2" PVC pipe looking thing was very shocking to get sucked into. Left a red mark on my hand, similar to my son's back. We went to tell the front desk and they just said they were aware and it's "suppose to be like that". This just seems completely UNSAFE. It really seems like it should have a cap or vent or SOMETHING over it. I told my kids to stay away from that area after I was aware of it. Both of my daughters were wearing piggy tail braids and that vent could've easily sucked one of their braids in getting them stuck there. I'd really advise the staff to look into making this spot safer in your pool. But if they don't, be wary of the hole that's just left to the 4' depth sign... don't let your kids play by it. I'm not kidding when I say it's a VERY STRONG suction. We were completely caught off guard with it. While the property is clean, this pool needs attention and swimmers beware if they don't fix this.

Clean Rooms the staff was nive

The outside of the hotel was misleading. It didn’t look brand new and was somewhat hidden behind a gas station. But when we walked inside we found it to be clean and the staff friendly. There have been updates on the building and the room was nice, clean and had been updated, too. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion were provided as well as bar soap. The price was very reasonable. The free breakfast had hot and cold foods. A good variety to choose from. And my favorite, a waffle making griddle! We would stay there again if we are in the area.

Initial smell of the lobby was concerning, but our room was just fine!

Everything about this hotel was amazing!! Driving home from Texas and needed a place to lay out heads before finishing the last leg. Check in so easy. Location right off I35. Easy on and off. The room?? Beyond exceptional!! Got the 3 queen bed. Room was gigantic!! Beds and pillows beyond comfy!! Very clean. Best hotel we've had in the last week. Price very reasonable for the size. Many choices for breakfast. Just an amazing experience!!! N/A

The shower wouldn’t drain, when I took a closer look it was clogged with hair and soap scum. The sink in that bathroom wouldn’t drain as well. The small refrigerator in the room would hardly keep our drinks cold.

Pet friendly Nothing

Very dated hotel, rock hard bed, holes in the screen windows, orange-brown stains on bathroom ceiling, and a 3am wake up from the trash service emptying the dumpsters below my window.

A little loud. But that was other customers

The 2nd day the wafflemaker didn't work. Didn't see anyone to even ask about it. Had a cold shower one day. The room felt wet. Even getting into bed, it felt like the bedding was damp. The carpet felt like they had just cleaned it and it was not dry yet. The wafflemaker didn't work. There probably should be more tables for eating area.

Pretty sure the room was never cleaned. The breakfast was good, or I'd rate this place a zero. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The lack of cleanliness and comfort.
