Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Owensboro/Waterfront

We've choose Hamilton Inn & Suites Owensboro over the last few years for the 4th of July events (to be with family and friends). This year they had renovation going on, one elevator working, not enough parking spots due to work trucks, trailers in spaces, & etc. The room given to us wasn't Waterview it just was a little frustrating.

The room had a perfect view of the river and was very clean! At breakfast there was a girl who went out of her way to get me three trays because she noticed we had several children with us. I wish u knew her name but she was young and had glasses. Very excellent hospitality!

The hotel was very clean and the beds were great. I would recommend you eat breakfast somewhere else.

BREAKFAST WAS GREAT! ROOM WAS CLEAN ,VIEW WAS PERFECT FOR THE FIREWORKS!

We love staying here and are repeat customers because it’s so nice! The back patio for adults and large grassy area for all the kids to play, the breakfast, the rooms….all of it is the best! Plus, the staff was genuinely friendly and wants to be helpful!

Great location with river views and close to the river walk, convention center, and Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum. . The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful with suggesting an excellent restaurant for dinner. Our room felt clean and looked fresh with high quality white bed linens. Plenty of parking. Decent breakfast included. Great value. Highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay.

The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The hotel location was excellent, within walking distance of Smothers Park. The room and other areas of the hotel were clean as well.

Enjoyed the breakfast and nice area to visit.

Disappointed in the cleanliness- there was a giant stain on one of the chairs and the bedsheets smelled like body odor. The pillows on the bed were so terrible that my neck hurt for days. Breakfast was good.

The building and grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was not the best. Our bathroom was a little outdated.

The property was next to the waterfront and was beautiful and peaceful..you could take a walk by the waterfront Checking out the last day we were there the front desk worker was nowhere to be found and when she finally did come back we acted annoyed and not helpful. My first and only unpleasant experience with staff.

Love that hotel!! I stay there everytime I come to Owensboro. I have never had a bad experience there

The staff are great. The elevators are the biggest detractor- crazy slow and small. The lobby a bit humid but other than that it’s a great spot!
