La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oxford - Anniston

I understand that hotels need to protect themselves against potential damages or incidentals, but a $150 hold seems excessive—especially for local guests. That amount can make it difficult for people who are simply looking for a quick getaway or staycation. I believe lowering the hold to something more reasonable, like $50 or even $75, would still protect the hotel while making the experience more convenient and affordable for guests. I don't think I'll be staying again due to the amount that is placed on hold. Overall, my stay was okay, but I do think the incidental hold policy is something La Quinta should reconsider.

Comfy beds quiet room. Breakfast was really good with lots of extra things not typical of most hotels. Just overnight but I would come back for sure.

The staff was helpful and nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. We felt safe and secure during our stay. The breakfast was OK, but you really can’t complain when it’s included in the room rate. All in all a nice stay. Would definitely recommend this location.

I can't recommend this hotel enough! Excellent room. Breakfast was great. Hotel was full, but room was quiet. I've stayed in a few hotels in Oxford and this was BY FAR the best. Will stay there the next time I'm in Oxford, or I'll keep driving.

The only negative occurred on Friday night, when adults were in the hallway keeping up noise until 12 am

Facility clean, Easy check in and check out. Located near restaurants. Was watching T V and it just cut off. Could not get any channels to come on. Kept giving a message not available no matter what I tried. Husband was already sleeping so I did not call the desk to report it. Still did not work the next morning. Also did not know there were bus loads of girl softball teams staying there for a softball tournament. It was noisy when they all came in after playing.

The breakfast was the only good thing about our stay, Booked a king size bed, made a call the day before we left to confirm, front desk said the king size room was ready got there and front desk said room was gone, gave use queens size it really was not acceptable if room was not already paid would had left, but to tired to try looking for another hotel. TV did not work had to go to the front desk he came to our room making it seems as though we did not know how to use the remote to turn on TV. Most likely the batteries were dead in remote, he gave us a universal remote. Found hair on sheets luckily we bought our own sheets and blankets.

It was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

They have a waffle maker on their breakfast bar Unfortunately, ended up with a room next to the elevator, so my dog was constantly barking at everyone who came by.
