Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Paducah West by IHG

We arrive at 9:01pm. The desk lady was very helpful. She said, “you just missed cookie hour. But she may still have some out there.” So I went back to the kitchen and asked if there were still cookies available. The lady asked what kind I liked. I told her and then said my wife and grandchildren might like a cookie too. She loaded me up with enough for everybody in our family. She was so gracious. And that’s and example of how every single person on the staff acted. They we outstanding. Bent over backwards to please. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and convenient. The entire hotel was clean and welcoming. We saw housekeeping staff constantly working to make this property look and feel great. They succeeded!!!

Our room was clean which is the most importance when traveling. However, our door deadbolt did not work. We tried to get it to work and it wouldn’t budge and we didn’t want change rooms after getting unpacked. The elevator stunk so bad and there was stuff all over the elevator floor and in front of the elevator on the main floor. It looked like it was a bad cleanup job from someone getting sick or something. The public bathroom on the main floor was not clean and the lock did not work. The breakfast was okay, but the pancake machine wasn’t working. Would I stay here again, yah, maybe, but our stop through Paducah a week earlier we stayed at the Residence Inn, which was much better than the Hokiday Inn, sad to say.

Hotel was nice. Mostly clean. The pool closed at 8 instead of 10 so my kids were disappointed.

Very helpful staff but the building is starting to show its age.

The room was very muggy and from the humidity the floors were very slippery and everything was damp and smelled. The shower went everywhere in the bathroom.

The property is very clean and comfortable. The location is ideal for easy on and off the highway, and there are lots of good restaurants and stores nearby. The whole staff was superb. We look forward to staying here again!

We stayed twice, for one night, traveling to/from Georgia. Stayed on floor 2 once and floor 1 once. Both quiet even though both were weekend nights. The floor 1 room near the pool was a little noisier (plus it’s A/C seemed to run cold and the bathroom fan sensor failed in the on state near as we could tell). Breakfast choices were ample, even with a girls softball team descended upon it when we arrived the second stay. Phew. Close. Coffee was good. Plenty of tables in the dining area. Didn’t succumb to the 8PM cookie deal but it sounded tasty. Ice only on main floor but not really a big deal. Parking lot access doors helped with unloading and loading. A little hard to find from US-24 headed East (with a TomTom nav in our Subaru).

Friendly staff. Room was clean. I did not get a chance to hit the breakfast buffet, but my parents did. Said it was great.
