I’ve stayed here twice both times were great

For a budget hotel this place is amazing.

Enjoyed my stay, bar and restaurant near pool is a plus.

Also this last time, the bar which is adjacent to the pool was blaring surf music which drowned out all the tropical tunes piped in through outdoor speakers. Kinda killed the vibe. The rooms are old. There's always a shower fixture or faucet that could use some maintenance or even redesign. Tiny fridges require some Tetris skills if you have more than a few things and no microwaves if those are a need. Everything else is pretty much what you would expect in hospitality. Staff is always clear, helpful and friendly. Never had a major issue with a room and never saw an outside critter inside. Stores and restaurants nearby. Tried Sancho's the onsite restaurant for the first time and the food was pretty good.

The pool is open from 8am until midnight. That's the only cool thing about this place. The air conditioning doesn't work. We tried two different rooms. The water in the shower turns ice cold throughout the entire shower. The restaurant attached to the front if the building (not the bar) is not very good and I paid $30 dollars for two little tacos that were mainly guacamole with a couple pieces of meat. And I mean only two tacos. By themselves. No sides . Overall, not a good experience.

Only complaint is the murky water in the showers and facets. Couldn’t make coffee in my room

The staff at the Reef bar were horrible. Will never go back

I am writing to report a sanitary issue in Room 151. At 12:02 AM, a large water bug/cockroach came near our food and crawled onto the steak we purchased. The insect fled into the room after we found it. I can't call the front desk because it's the middle of the night but there's water leakage on the floor near the coffee maker which likely attracted the bug. It hid somewhere and I don't know where it went and my sleep is disturbed. I would like to arrange an compensation for this night's stay. Thank you

Everything was great, except there's no food available after 10pm, and the in-room coffee was awful.

But, our room had an old casino cigarette smell. The shower never got warm, took a bird bath in sink. The pool was cool they have a tiki bar entrance from pool area to drink out there.

Plenty of parking , nice eating spots around and close by . Had a room issue which was sorted very quickly . Shower was a little too powerful if that’s a real issue but we did suffer with water going all over the door . Highly recommend The Reef for both food and drink . Oh And the Tiki mugs .

Tiki Bar has the best drinks and the food is excellent.

Great stay, easy parking, comfortable room.

The property is clean but furniture is old, needs up grades, Not very safe at night, too dark, hard to see room number and where you are heading.

I have stay at this hotel before years ago and enjoyed it .. I heard they had upgraded the hotel .. I don’t know ., but his time around the when we got to the room they were really hot inside the air conditi mind you it was in July when the weather is 100 plus outside .. it took a while for the room to cool off .. the toilet was running all the time
