Motel 6 Palm Springs, CA - East - Palm Canyon

We stayed here for 8 nights while a family member was in critical condition at Desert Regional Medical Center, and the staff truly made a difficult time a little easier. The front desk team was incredibly kind, compassionate, and helpful 24/7. They always greeted us with a smile and had wonderful recommendations for local coffee shops and restaurants, which was such a thoughtful touch during a stressful stay. Our room was clean, the air conditioning worked great, and the property was quiet and comfortable. Clean swimming pool to help the students have an enjoyable stay. We are so grateful for the hospitality and care we received. Thank you for making us feel welcome during such a challenging time.

This property is very well managed. It’s clean, safe and located in a wonderful area that’s close to coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores and just a few minutes to downtown Palm Springs. The staff here, from Juan, the wonderful manager, Amber, the main front office clerk, and Philippe, the head of maintenance, are so friendly and accommodating. You feel as though they’re your friends! It’s a resort setting with a great pool area, and magnificent views. It’s the absolute best Motel 6 in which I have ever stayed (we travel with our cat, and most places won’t take her, so we’ve stayed at many Motel 6 properties.). We really love this place.

A beautiful location with a beautiful pool. The property is so convenient to restaurants, grocery, fuel, liquor stores, pot shops…you name it. This is a very pet-friendly property. It’s managed well and the staff are friendly and professional. Juan, the manager, keeps this property in great shape with excellent staffing. Every staff member is friendly, and seems very content with their work. We particularly are fond of Amber, who is always helpful and accommodating at the front desk. It’s a great property if you are traveling with your fur-babies and want to be in a perfectly located Palm Springs motel. Lots of safe, well-lit parking, with room for your trailer or even moving van.

Clean decent safe budget hotel.

Very clean, well run, great dog area. Rooms in back have beautiful mountain views and the employees was very amicable.

This is a frequent stop for us because it’s reliably clean and very well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and remember you so you feel like friends. The property is in a beautiful location and has a resort vibe, with a beautiful large pool.

We had a very comfortable stay this time in East Palm canyon property, it was quite quiet for being 4th of July so we had a restful weekend.

Room was clean, beds where clean, they're ice room needs work the microwave was dirty and floors looked like they hadn't be cleaned in awhile. Everyone of the staff members went above and beyond and was very helpful

Some guests yelling and noisey, slamming doors, a car was honking at 1am. Everything is outdated, needs a deep cleaning, all rooms and pool areas. AC filters. I bought disinfectant spray and used a wet towel, I used my foot to move the towel on the floor and bathroom. The towel was black from dirt because noone must mop down the floor, and mind you this is a pet friendly motel. We'd pay more for a clean and peaceful 2 nights next time. Will not stay here again.

Staff including/ especially management were so RUDE and condescending to not only myself but other guests as well. I work in the hotel industry and my bosses and the owners of the hotels I work for would use this as an example of what definitely not to act like as it is appealing. I dread to think the day I'm forced to stay at your motel again. I'd probably rather camp by a dumpster . Management should be let go or at least reprimanded or suspended.. Honestly, they should know better. No doubt I'm the first to complain about this.

I was looking forward to a relaxing stay after driving through the desert heat. Palm Springs has that perfect sunny vibe, and Motel 6 is a solid budget choice right off the highway. Check-in was fast, staff was friendly, and the property is well-kept. Free parking, clean pool area, solid Wi-Fi, and morning coffee in the lobby made it convenient. The bed was surprisingly comfy and the room felt fresh. But those kids at the front desk were nonstop. They’d run around yelling, chasing each other, with zero adult supervision. Every time I went up to the desk they’d stop, stare at me, and start giggling and pointing like I was entertainment. Made me feel so awkward I started avoiding the lobby completely. A little parental control or staff stepping in would’ve fixed it easily. Still, the motel gives great value for the money. Clean, convenient location, hits all the basics. I’d recommend it if you’re not planning to spend time at the front desk. With better management of the lobby area, it’d be perfect. Solid 4 out of 5 for me

Our stay at Motel 6 East Palm Springs was actually pretty dope. The room was clean, the bed was comfy as hell, and the AC was a lifesaver in that heat. Everything felt fresh for a Motel 6. Location was solid too, easy to get around Palm Springs. For the price, it was lowkey a good spot. I’d stay again.

The room was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked great against the desert heat, and having a fridge and microwave made everything so convenient. We could grab drinks and snacks from the store and keep them cold right in the room. Location was perfect — easy access to everything in Palm Springs, but still quiet enough to relax. The second floor gave us a nice view and kept us away from any parking lot noise. The staff was friendly and the whole place was well kept. Nothing fancy, but everything worked perfectly. For the price, it was an excellent value. Would absolutely stay here again. Solid choice if you’re looking for a comfortable, no-frills base in Palm Springs.

There was black hair all over the bathroom floor and hair in the sink. I checked in.

Front desk was always helpful changing my reservation and very nice too used the spa and pool . They should put wraps on pools for pool so you can get in and out of pool safely. Because of 5he temp the metal pools are hazardous to burns. Otherwise everything was excellent
