Ace Hotel & Swim Club Palm Springs

Parking was easy around the outside of the hotel. Rooms were also clean, we had a great family weekend away.

Parking was terrible from the moment we arrived, and you have to get to the pool early, or there are zero chairs available. The pool was packed, and there were two girls humping each other on a raft. One was in lingerie with her nipples out.

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean atmosphere lively, and fun.

Besides that, we were happy with our rooms and our stay. I just hope that they see this review and note that people love the old version of Ace.

Great pool and vibes all around. Only complaint is the food/drinks. Really overpriced for the quality. You would expect a freshly made drink and a not premade cocktail for $26. With that being said, I’d stay again.

Room was very clean, front desk and pool staff very polite and helpful.

Also the pool shows Adults Only but there were so many kids even on the weekend and many day pass holders at the pool. There were no towels left for hotel residents. I think it’s time to try other PS Hotels.

Been here many times and this trip I had to check out a day early because of the terrible experience. On site construction 100 feet from my room entrance, loud noise constantly from unruly smoking guests all around me, the front desk’s inability to find me a different room then promised to ensure that I was happy and that the guests around me have checked out. But still woke up Monday morning to Jack hammers and drilling that lasted all day, the room itself had no hot water in the shower so we took ice showers on Monday and also had a major fly and mosquito issue in our room. The door had open gaps and wasn’t properly sealed. I’ll add those photos! Also our phone in our room would never connect to house keeping, restaurant or the front desk. So I had to walk from the back of the property in 99 degree heat when I needed assistance. the front desk’s inability to offer me any kind of useful solutions led me to have no choice but check out a day early. I booked this trip for my husband’s birthday and was looking forward to having an amazing time to relax together. That didn’t happen and are very skeptical of ever returning.

Having everything on site , the pool, music, the diner, the bar and lounge was great you don't need to leave for anything.

Stayed in room 501 just so we wouldn’t be by the main pool and the loud music. I’m not sure why this place is rated so high by families. I brought my grandson and his mom with me. The “family pool” was not so inviting with super cloudy water and the pool chairs looked like they were from 1952 abandoned at the hotel. Couldn’t sit on them and relax. There were no towels either or anyone to ask for towels. The room was clean enough but the AC unit was super loud and the foot traffic outside the room equally loud. Obviously it’s a party atmosphere and definitely not for families.

This hotel is sooo loud. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation maybe pick somewhere else. The doors slam shut extremely loud, so we were woken up all night with people coming into their rooms. Also one night there was a private event at the family pool right outside our room blasting music til 11pm that they hadn’t previously told us about. The pool was nice but next time I’d probably stay elsewhere and just get a day pool pass here. Also beware of the prices at the pool $25 for a cocktail and almost $30 for any food item

Things seem to have gone downhill with the PS Ace. The rooms have been jankier and jankier each time I've stayed there. This time, the shower leaked, the water pressure was bad, there was a cockroach in my room, and housekeeping pounded on my door incessantly at 9am. After a long love affair with this place, I'm finally done.

First room smelled like urine, second room was slightly better but did not feel as clean as it could be. Received random charges two days after my stay and was accused of smoking (I am literally 5 months pregnant). They reversed the charge but still extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. The pool ran out of towels. The family pool was full of moms popping bottles and not watching their kids despite a no glass rule at the pool. Overall it’s really unkept and lacks care.

The staff was very helpful and very friendly. We loved how they showed the World Cup game and also the basketball game in the back room by the pool. It was very cool and a cool space to hang out.

Very fun and great access to all the fun stuff to do in PS!
