Hilton Vacation Club Palm Canyon Palm Springs

The room felt old - the bathroom was hot af as if it was built after the fact and has no AC access - the bed was squeaky, springy and the pillows lumpy - everything just felt blah - like the whole place needs a little to a good amount of love - also whoever organized the room #’s is diabolical - my room was 2019 - next to a room labeled 2121 - on the first floor - that doesn’t make any sense, also no signs indicated that’s where my room was and my room was the only room where 0 is the 2nd number, an insane numbering system, absolutely bizzare & beyond diabolical - pool is great, that’s what they got going for them but everything else is meh on the verge of gross

Some thing that needs renovating, ie: bathtubs. Our room bathtub abd walls were old looking was high to get in and out of. I fell during my stay. While trying to get out... overall a great stay.

Let’s be real, the pool is why people stay here. The rooms are outdated with fresh paint and furniture but you’re not staying for luxury. The bed was overly soft and the pull out too hard. The air conditioning was weak and did not circulate. We had to leave the bedroom door open during the night to even feel the air. I’d still stay there again knowing I’m going for the large pool, with two slides one perfect for little kids. Life guard on duty during the day and large enough pool it’s not overwhelming with all the people. The food from the resort was a bit pricey but was also large portions and pretty tasty. My kid rates it 10/10 for the pool. Overall I’d give it an 8/10 because it was clean, just old building, parking was rough, but the pool is awesome and worth it.

Ordering food was easier than in the past and the delivery was quick to our room. Also, the food was good. The updated rooms and size is great. We enjoyed Rob, Teresa and Carlos at the bar. They are priceless. The front desk was quick and very helpful. A big improvement from a few years ago. The fan was so loud it was difficult to hear the tv. The 2nd bedroom could have used a dresser or closet. It made it difficult to get around the bed with so much stuff on the ground. Kitchen had NO counter space. Just another 2 sqft. would have made a big difference. The pool area has not enough chairs for the amount of people that are there. It was so disappointing to not be able to get even 1 lounge chair. As the day went on it was obvious the pool needed a break. The water was so cloudy (both the adult and children's pool). It was gross. And there was trash, cups and cans left all along the edge of the pool. This is really on the adults that are pigs but it was really off putting. We ended up only spending about 1 hour at the pool the whole time due to this.

It was clean The air conditioner would make a very loud banging sound every time it turned off that would startle you Every time! Also, there was an all-night party that didn’t allow any sleep for us!

I loved everything about this place !

Exceptional

I love how the rooms have a whole kitchen and was able to cook for my kids . The pool was nice and clean the front desk was nice . The only thing that we dislike was that they called our room at 8-9AM to offer the new Hotel 90 min meeting when I never agreed for a call early morning it woke up my kids . But other then that everyone was good

Breakfast has to be purchased but I had the avocado toast and potatoes and it was delicious. For lunch we ordered the pizza and buffalo wings we really enjoyed the buffalo wings they were delicious as well. The pizza was a 5/10. The alcohol drinks were great and the bartenders at the pool bar were friendly and fast! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going again. It would be nice if they had a continental breakfast included but that still wouldn't stop me from going back. I have 0 complaints about this place!

The pool was nice BUT the rooms not so much. The beds are uncomfortable. They are very used - I could feel the wires in the bed. The restroom has mold around the tub. Some of the doors didn’t close properly. Our electricity went out in the kitchen so they had to come flip the breaker.
