Housekeeping did a great job preparing a clean room. Staff were so very friendly too. Very helpful unique hotel too. My only suggestion is to make some minor repairs to the bathroom such as the heating light knob, corking in the shower, and chip in the tub. Not a huge deal, but would have made it perfect.

We go to the Blennerhasset each year for a family reunion in the area. Go to the Blennerhassett Island - it's a "must." We LOVE the speakeasy. Ask about it at the front desk. Highly recommend it for a nightcap or longer. Mackenzie was our bartender last visit and she did an amazing job jugging orders, being amusing, and also working the speakeasy door. We'll be back.

For the most part, we enjoyed our stay there. What was troubling? Was the change in the price of the room from when I made the reservation to when we checked out. Also, we were charged an additional 50.00 then what was on our receipt. I did email the manager, but I have not heard anything back. When I called the hotel, they said that it would be refunded in 3 to 5 days. This is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that charged more than what was on the receipt. Had I been told I would not have had a problem with it, but since I was not even informed of it, I feel like it is borderline illegal to do this.

Clean room, friendly staff, beautiful hotel. We took the history tour.

Room was clean but small would have liked a softer bed

The staff was super helpful most of the time. I asked the previous day for a fridge in my room so it would be cold at check-in. They didn't place it in there, but did immediately upon checking in. Parking is really inconvenient; they do have valet and bellboy services which I took advantage of on my departure. The restaurant was mid at best and I didn't consider it worth the price they wanted. I would expect better prepared food. I ate lunch and dinner, and lunch was greasy and dinner was dry. Also, I had a city facing room and the traffic could be heard well past midnight and the ac unit was louder than Im use to having central air in my home. Overall, it was an okay place to stay. It wasn't my first choice, and upon staying it won't be a first choice again as it was just not a pleasurable experience.

Beautiful Historical Hotel with and amazing History.

This historic hotel is located within walking distance of impressive homes as well as a ferry to an island with a mansion! The staff are wonderful!!

The Blennerhassett was great! First time there but definitely will come back again. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was great, shower was incredible! The only issue is that the website did not state that the speakeasy was only open on Fridays and Saturdays, so we didn't get to enjoy a drink there, but Michele and Mike allowed us to see it. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!
