Came there at wrong time. They were working on the parking lot. Came back to the hotel a little later and had to wait for 20 minutes or so because they were also working on the road going into the hotel. Other than that, my stay here was overall okay.

One of the biggest disappointments was the pool. We chose this hotel specifically because of it, but after it rained, the pool was closed and we weren’t allowed back in. We were also required to wear bracelets to access the pool, which felt unnecessary. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Room was clean. No sleep because the room is next to an exterior door and you can hear the door open and close all day and all hours of the night. I got no sleep.

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was satisfying. Would stay here again.

I stayed one night and would definitely stay here again. My room was very clean. The front desk staff was efficient and pleasant.

I came in the room to an overwhelming toilet smell. Flushed several times and smell won’t go away. Luckily had a strong cologne which I sprayed around toilet to mask smell. It was late and just wanted to sleep so didn’t want to deal with a room change. No plans to be back.

Even though they charged me for breakfast, they started removing food items fifteen minutes before breakfast time was over; and when I politely asked for one of these, they insisted that they "were out" of them. I saw these items set out moments earlier, and the very same ones were put back out the very next morning (Sunday). When I asked the Holiday Inn & Suites Parsippany Fairfield for a partial refund of the breakfast fees, they said they "are unable to" because the "reservation came from a 3rd party," Expedia.

Solid hotel stay. Somewhat dated, but maintained. Clean with friendly staff. Mexican restaurant and bar on-site for general public. Good breakfast. A good stop over option.

On the positive side, the staff was friendly and welcoming, parking was free, which is a big plus, and convenient. However, the elevator also seemed quite old. Overall, a decent stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in maintenance and amenities.
