Red Lion Hotel Pendleton

While this is an older hotel, the rooms were clean, the beds are really comfortable and I love the quality sheets and towels. I was able to swim in their outdoor pool -it was crystal clear and heated. The view outside the rooms was magnificent looking over the wheatfields and agricultural fields to the base of the Blue Mountains. From our room we saw cottontail bunnies, birds of every sort, hawks and meadowlarks, too. The people that work in the facility were so extra helpful and really nice. It’s not a new facility, but the rest of it is fantastic.

At check in, I felt like I was being interrogated, questioned about all the arrangements I had made then felt nearly threatened about the no smoking policy or dog policy. I checked in late and all I wanted to do was get to my room and sleep. This kinda pissed me off that I was being accused of something... He had to state if i'm outside seen smoking on the balcony I would be instantly charged an additional $300+ amount... what that about... okay you have a smoking policy. No need to go overboard. Red Lion is showing its age at one time it was a very nice hotel... but the back doors were not even secure. We walked in without using the card key system. That was a little unsettling.. Parking was a maze... someone had a few extra hours in designing a non functional parking lot... Didnt even want to venture into breakfast... at that point to many concerns...

Pleasant, convenient motel. Good parking, good breakfast, quiet and comfortable room.

The Room was Nice

Clean rooms and they where pretty big for and pretty fair priced on the room

Therefore, days never had been in service never heard of anyone. Hurd there was breakfast, but we did not partake. It is clean and comfortable, but don’t expect any amenities like coffee pots in the bedroom and like I said no room service in four days.

The property is located in a scenic area with beautiful views. The room was clean but needs to be updated. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom needs a fresh clean shower curtain.

The area was nice. Friendly staff.

Easy lite parking,close to room.

Not a thing.. we didn't even stay and asked for refund and was denied i basically was ripped off. Everything was horrible no restaurant no lounge way overpriced horribly outdated..

The air conditioner didnt stay on and couldnt find the remote for it and no one cleaned my room..

The only complaint o had was the staff. I was there 20 minutes early and I had a toddler with me and they wouldn’t do any early check in. I asked if there was something close so I could go get my child snack and they told me I would have to go at least 10 miles which I later found out was untrue. The room was very nice and affordable. So I would just say to check the area before staying there so you know where you can go and what you can do. The staff won’t really help with that.

Large room. Quiet. Great outdoor pool

This property was ok. We had a room on the bottom floor and took the stairs down because we were told there was no elevator, but we were not told there is a walk in, no stairs door on the end. The staff seemed put out when we asked questions, except for the male front desk person. We overheard staff arguing at breakfast about schedules. Otherwise it was ok. The room was clean and the view beautiful and it was very close to the highway, shopping, and food choices.

Convenient location off highway and across from gas station.

This motel is in need of some updates but the view of the mountains and beautiful maintained property made us overlook the aging building. The pool is awesome. Thank you for a great stay oh and the bed and pillows were perfect.

I was disappointed there is no restaurant, except a marginal breakfast. It was very clean; the staff all helpful. I think the whole property needs some updating & maintenance, repairs.
