An almost perfect travel hotel. Rooms are new and clean. The pantry in the lobby is convenient. And breakfast was clean and well prepared.

Also, the young lady who takes care of the lovely breakfast area. She is a gem as clever with answering my questions etc. The downstairs is spotless and pretty style. Hmmm, nope. All is fantastic! Thank you always.

We enjoyed our stay at Avid, the hotel was clean, very quiet during our Thursday, Friday stay. Of course, on the weekend it was much busier and less quiet . But we were still able to get a restful night sleep. The pool area was nice and clean. We loved that the electric vehicle charging station, were accessible on the campus. The staff was friendly and always helpful. The Location was superb for us to spend grandparents weekend with our grandchildren. Please note: This hotel does not have cribs for smaller children and only allows service dogs. It was perfect for us because our grandchildren are older now and as much as we love our dogs. We have one grandchild with severe allergies, less dog hair in an immediate area equates to less flare ups and a more enjoyable trip for all. So thank you Avid in Perry,GA for a great stay!

The ppl upstairs ran and banged into things all night from 3am-7am......yet I was still charged full price for no sleep.

The guest above my room was very noisy they had children and they ran around most of the night.

I was moved to three different rooms because the bedding was not clean. There was hair throughout the sheets on each bed, and one of the comforters had noticeable stains. By the time the issue continued into the evening, it was too late for me to reasonably look for another hotel, so I had to request fresh sheets and change the bedding myself. The staff I interacted with were professional and courteous, and I appreciate their efforts. However, the housekeeping standards at this location need significant improvement. Guests should not have to inspect multiple rooms for clean bedding or make their own beds after checking in. There were also maintenance issues in the final room, including a loose faucet. Overall, the experience was frustrating and far below what I expected from an Avid hotel. This location clearly needs to address its housekeeping procedures and room inspection standards.

New hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, very good staff Only negative was there tv offering, the menu only showed channels and not programs so if you wanted to watch tv you had to scan thru every station to find out what program was on each channel

My experience here was not the best. The first room we stayed in had bedbugs, then we were moved to another room but that room had a strong urine smell. My fiancé is temporarily wheel chair bound, so moving our items from one room to another was not easy, staff did not ask if I needed help, which, in any other hotel, help is always offered to us. Our reservation end up getting cancelled mid-stay. The only good thing about this property is the property manager giving us a refund.

Had a late check in the front desk took about 10mins to appear. Was not super welcoming he was very dry. Went to room and it was warm… keep in mind it is 87 at 9pm right now. Walked in bathroom to use it and there was splattered poop from previous person all over inside of toilet. Hairs in seat… and the comforter had large dark stains in it and it was WHITE. It was late so I cleaned enough to hover to use toilet. Strip comforter off. Next morning shower door didn’t close all way and soaked the entire floor. At check out was offered 10% discount. Very disappointed as I love Hilton properties normally.

Any reviews should always start with good information before you get to the concerning information. I’m 53 years old and I’ve been staying in hotels off and on my whole life I have seen the good and the bad and from the outward appearance the avid hotel I stayed in with my daughter in Perry Georgia Friday evening into Saturday the 14th is a beautiful establishment. Seems to be new on the market very clean, modern charging stations for devices everywhere and well maintained. As mentioned in previous posts and reviews people mentioned that it is a Spartan surrounding and does not accommodate the high-end crowd. Avid is meant for exactly what most people use hotels for a comfortable, clean bed a hot shower and if on a business trip a place to put your laptop and work. As you will see contained in the pictures below one of the things right out of the gate that concerned me about my stay was this hundred dollar incidental fee which the clerk at the desk assured me was not actually going to be deducted from my account it was just a “hold” just in case something occurred. I wasn’t overly happy with this and figure as long as I got a receipt I would be OK. Then this clerk very adamantly informed me there was no receipt or email to be had for the fact that he just put $100 hold on my debit card and that it would not be taken from the account I should’ve left, gotten a refund for my overpriced room at $141 and found another place nearby which they were plenty but I just rolled my eyes and went to my room and within the hour, checked my banking account to find it in fact, $100 had been taken! To be completely honest when I checked out today once again asking for a receipt or an email and was told again that I would not be getting one and it was not something they provided. I informed the clerk they would never see me again, which you will not. To be completely fair I checked my account and within two hours the money had been returned. On a couple of other concerns.
