Comfort Suites Perrysburg - Toledo South

The hotel is going thru a remodel, so keep that in mind, but the place is a bit run-down for over $125 a night stay. The beds are hard, but the pillows were ample. The tub was nice and hot, but there was a piece of fried chicken on the floor from the previous person.

Clean room

Expedia needs to remove this hotel from their listings. This hotel gave off the Overlook. It smelled like sewer water in the halls. The elevator was so rickety and old, I was waiting to get stuck. The most aggregators offense was the inability to lock the doors. I last 5 minutes before I booked with the Hampton Inn and ran away.

The TV wasn't working in the first room we were in. So, the staff moved us to another room. However, it was a room that had been smoked in. The shower head needed replacing from the crustacean on it. The toilet seat was coming off of the toilet. The thermostat was stuck on cold. AND, the TV stopped working in there too.

Absolutely HORRIFIC experience. Woman at check in didn't speak or crack a smile. Our room was disgusting. Old food on the floor, hairs in the bathtub and all over the bathroom floor. And why was the tub wet like someone just showered in there? Moldy shower curtain. dirty sheets, dirt and a large screw on the floor, inch thick dust in the AC unit. Chipped paint on the floor. Looks like it was never cleaned for months. Also, loads of construction material sitting outside. Side door to enter hotel was not locked or secured at all, so anyone could just walk in. Shady people outside as well. Requested new room, which we got, but no words spoken from the woman again even after showing her the photos. No apology, Nothing. Moved us to another room which was bearable. Woman at checkout was incredibly nice though.

Property is under renovation and that should be disclosed upfront. Bathroom sink didn’t drain at all. If door wasn’t slammed closed, electronic siren would sound which was very annoying. Had to close door with major shoulder weight to stop siren noise each time door was opened/closed. Otherwise, room was as should have been. Breakfast was weak compared to other stays. Front desk staff was almost nonexistent as they tended to stay out of sight.

Great hotel. The hot tub was perfect - exactly what I needed during my little vacation. Definitely won’t mind staying here next time I’m in the Toledo area.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The lady at the front desk was super nice, very patient (even as she dealt a rude person), and did her best to help us with anything we needed which was very nice of her especially as we had gotten there late night to check in. The shower was big and amazing. My bf is 6'5" and has never been able to shower properly without having to lean down but there was a rain type shower head on a high ceiling so no leaning needed. There was no tub in my room (I don't know about other rooms). I don't care baths tho but if you do just keep that in mind. The stay was comfortable, the free breakfast was good, the price was amazing, there was no check-in cut time too so we could check-in at anytime of the night. No complaints just praises! 10 out of 10

Clean , updated room. Made reservations for a king bed with a pull out couch. No couch in the room.

The hotel is going through a renovation, but they should just throw the whole thing in the trash. I booked a room with a pull out sofa and it wasn’t there. I told the front desk that there were not enough places for us to sleep. They did nothing. Thank God our friends were staying in the same hotel and let my son stay with them. The front desk blamed Expedia. Expedia could not get a call through to the front desk. Spent a total of 3 hours on the phone before getting moved to a new room and getting a refund for one night. Well, waiting for a refund which takes up to 15 business days. How this place continues to be over booked is beyond me. The hotel manager or the Great Oz as I like to call her, never showed up or spoke to me on the phone. If you are not equipped to handle guests during a renovation, then don’t!

TV in room didn’t work initially. Phone in room didn’t work (to call front desk). Shower had two bottles of conditioner installed, no shampoo. Bed was comfortable but everything else just annoying.

Had issues getting our shower to run and the bathroom door seems to be installed incorrectly so there’s a crack at the top and won’t shut all the way

Do not stay here. It was understaffed. The room smelled. They didn't provide us the proper room so we had to go to a different hotel. It's been more than a week and they still haven't reimbursed us. Do not stay here.

We had to switch rooms after first checking in because the bed linens were stained and there were finger nail clippings on the bathroom sink. The second room wasn't much better, it had stains on the chair, carpet and curtains. The staff was friendly during check in, check out and even our request for a new room. The cleanest part of the whole hotel was the breakfast area.

The room 322 I was in was so nasty the thicker cover had hella pee stains on it didn’t sleep never or on it. The room floors had hella dirt spots on it. The water for the shower didn’t get hot until i was about to get out mind you i was in there for a good 15 minutes trying to wait for the hot water to kick in. The door to the room seemed as if it wasn’t closed all the way had to put sum in front of it to feel secure inside the room while sleeping there.

I booked a hot tub king suite. Then when I arrived they said expedia always make that mistake of booking the wrong room. Never experienced nothing like it

This was by far the worst stay we ever had. They gave us a room that was filthy and uncleaned went back to the desk and put us in another room that smelled like mold and pee. The jetted tub was wet as well as all the towels and there was used so on the edge. Ended up getting a third room that was better but something was wrong with the plumbing. No manager on duty to offer any kind of resolution. Then I couldn't even get coffee in the morning because they closed up breakfast early so disappointing. The whole experience was terrible. I do not recommend wasting your time or money at this location!!!

The air conditioning works well but the hall lights and the lights in the rooms weren't very bright with very few in the room.

Remodeling at the time I was there. My room was finished and had a very nice rain shower. Breakfast was minimal and what was there as far as hot food wasn't good.
