Comfort Suites Perrysburg - Toledo South

The hotel is going through a renovation, but they should just throw the whole thing in the trash. I booked a room with a pull out sofa and it wasn’t there. I told the front desk that there were not enough places for us to sleep. They did nothing. Thank God our friends were staying in the same hotel and let my son stay with them. The front desk blamed Expedia. Expedia could not get a call through to the front desk. Spent a total of 3 hours on the phone before getting moved to a new room and getting a refund for one night. Well, waiting for a refund which takes up to 15 business days. How this place continues to be over booked is beyond me. The hotel manager or the Great Oz as I like to call her, never showed up or spoke to me on the phone. If you are not equipped to handle guests during a renovation, then don’t!

TV in room didn’t work initially. Phone in room didn’t work (to call front desk). Shower had two bottles of conditioner installed, no shampoo. Bed was comfortable but everything else just annoying.

Had issues getting our shower to run and the bathroom door seems to be installed incorrectly so there’s a crack at the top and won’t shut all the way

property is going through renovation and lot of amenities and not fully functional. bathroom door was not locking, sofa bed wasn't opening. Coffee machine in the room was not clean.

Do not stay here. It was understaffed. The room smelled. They didn't provide us the proper room so we had to go to a different hotel. It's been more than a week and they still haven't reimbursed us. Do not stay here.

We had to switch rooms after first checking in because the bed linens were stained and there were finger nail clippings on the bathroom sink. The second room wasn't much better, it had stains on the chair, carpet and curtains. The staff was friendly during check in, check out and even our request for a new room. The cleanest part of the whole hotel was the breakfast area.

The room 322 I was in was so nasty the thicker cover had hella pee stains on it didn’t sleep never or on it. The room floors had hella dirt spots on it. The water for the shower didn’t get hot until i was about to get out mind you i was in there for a good 15 minutes trying to wait for the hot water to kick in. The door to the room seemed as if it wasn’t closed all the way had to put sum in front of it to feel secure inside the room while sleeping there.

I booked a hot tub king suite. Then when I arrived they said expedia always make that mistake of booking the wrong room. Never experienced nothing like it

This was by far the worst stay we ever had. They gave us a room that was filthy and uncleaned went back to the desk and put us in another room that smelled like mold and pee. The jetted tub was wet as well as all the towels and there was used so on the edge. Ended up getting a third room that was better but something was wrong with the plumbing. No manager on duty to offer any kind of resolution. Then I couldn't even get coffee in the morning because they closed up breakfast early so disappointing. The whole experience was terrible. I do not recommend wasting your time or money at this location!!!

The air conditioning works well but the hall lights and the lights in the rooms weren't very bright with very few in the room.

Remodeling at the time I was there. My room was finished and had a very nice rain shower. Breakfast was minimal and what was there as far as hot food wasn't good.

Very disappointed. The hotel was renovating and there were white pieces of paint chips on the hall carpets and in the guest room, along with 2 screws found on the floor in our room. The room smelled of mildew or cat urine (especially in the bathroom). The phone and TV in the room didn't work the entire stay. We were told that they had a storm that day that knocked out the cable and the cable company was coming that day (Saturday). They never came Saturday or Sunday. The bathroom was not light enough because there was not a light above the bathroom vanity. Only a light behind the mirror above the vanity. The sheets had some dirt or make up stains on them. The closet door would not open easily or close completely, so we didn't use it. The dead bolt on the door would not work, as there were two screws that were not completely screwed in on the door handle that made the dead bolt not line up.

Check in was easy & the customer service was ok. We got a king bed which i was to understand included a couch, well the photos showed a couch, no couch. The HVAC unit was so close to 1 side of the bed I had to walk sideways past it to get in and out of bed. The shower has no shelves or places to place necessary toiletries so they had to sit on the floor. I put them on a towel first but still pretty gross. I found an old used towel still hanging on the bar where the shower curtain was as well. Double gross. And no bathroom fan? Or if there is a fan it provides no privacy or ventilation for the bathroom at all. I also had to unplug the mini fridge during the night because it made a loud whining noise when the compressor kicked on. The TV remote would not work when lying in bed due to the angle they hung the TV at. I had to get up right next to the TV/TV sensor with the remote to change the volume which basically negates the need for a remote at all. The bed was great tho, so comfy.

I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR THE SECOND NIGHT. THE ROOM SMELLED SO BAD WHEN WE GOT BACK THAT WE HAD TO GET ANOTHER ROOM IN ANOTHER HOTEL. ALSO, THE REST OF MY PARTY DID NOT GET THE ROOMS THEY PAYED FOR BECAUSE THE HOTEL DIDN'T HAVE THEM AVAILABLE, SO WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GET ANOTHER ROOM AT ANOTHER HOTEL. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL WAS COSTLY AND NOT GOOD!

False advertising! The hot tub suite I paid for wasn't available. Lost my money and had to find other accommodations on my wedding anniversary! Don't waste your time here.

The equipment in the gym was in very poor condition. The hot water took forever to reach the shower. The bathroom smelled of raw sewer. The parking lot was full of construction material and those were the good things.
