La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Toledo Perrysburg

Facility was well maintained. Unfortunately our room was on the freeway side. Noise was like being in the median.

I was tired and took the room available. I found the toilet seat was loose so it felt like you would fall off the toilet when you sat on the toilet. The room had a greasy musky smell and also a cigarette smell and I don’t smoke but I didn’t complain about that. The carpets were sticky and and felt a bit damp which might be the source of the musky smell. I didn’t complain about this either. I only asked for a different room because the toilet was loose as that seemed unsafe. The lady at the front desk was going to move me to another room but I decided it was just too much trouble since I already spent one night in the room I was in. The hotel accommodated a late check out of a couple of hours but told me I would have to pay a charge for that. I reminded them of all the issues I had so they didn’t charge me the extra for a late check out. I was never offered a refund of the difference between a basic room and the one bedroom suite with a kitchen I booked online. This is called bait and switch, by the way.

Breakfast was so-so. The bed was comfortable.

The bathroom needs a good deep clean.

We stayed for one night only as a layover on our way to our next destination. The room came with a full kitchenette, which would be very beneficial for a long-term stay. Our room smelled clean and seemed clean; however, there was a dirty sock under the armchair in the room (we didn’t bother to request housekeeping because it was late into the night). The front desk employees are all super nice and friendly, greeting us during check-in and check-out. I would suggest that the housekeeping staff check the room more thoroughly in the future.

When we arrived we were given a room on the first floor. It smelled like mold. I requested another room and they were able to help me. The second room was much better.

Furthermore, the breakfast was Mediocre at best, no source of protein with the exception of 2% Milk!!??? In addition, the breakfast manager stood creepily in the front door to the kitchen, watching all of the guests getting and eating their breakfast meals. I left with a distinct impression that I was being closely monitored regarding my food intake. EGADS!!!

Exceeded expectations for a relatively affordable hotel. Very comfortable bed, clean room, modern, great breakfast with healthy choices.

Would appreciate gluten free options for breakfast

Luckily only had to stay for a few hours go catch rest on a road trip, just terrible.

We stayed for one night on a road trip heading south. Hotel was good - staff were super friendly. Fairly basic hotel - a little more budget than I expected. Floor in the bedroom left the bottom of my feet dirty so recommend bringing flip flops.

I only stayed one night while passing through. Nice hotel and room. Clean and everything worked. The only issue is that the sound from the nearby highway came right through the windows. Although well maintained, the building seems a bit old and may need some upgrades

Room and whole facility was not as clean as expected. The included breakfast was pretty sparse and did not stand up to our normal experience at other La Quinta locations. We would not recommend this specific location.
