Hyatt Place Phoenix -North

Room never became available for check in due to being understaffed. Said they'd call with update & I never received call. I checked in with them before dinner & at 8pm with no guarantee for a room to be available. Pool was closed as well.

I decided to book this hotel because of how close it is to the testing center, I had a state exam to get a license at 8a.m. so I thought this was a good idea. I was literally able to walk across to the testing center. We got to the room at around 1130 p.m., turned on the AC but it never got cold. at 230 am I was still awake because of how hot/humid it was. Also the room was dirty. I do NOT recommend.

The staff and the breakfast were wonderful. Everything else. Pool was down. I picked this location because the website said it had a pool. I've stayed at other Hyatt's, and i was expecting the same quality. So many things, things i won't go into here because I didn't say anything. I didnt complain because on friday, there was one employee. Seriously. And she was very nice but alone. Saturday, same. We saw one girl that morning. Oh and the lady cooking. Sunday there was a gentleman and more staff. But this was not the Hyatt I was expecting at all, not like the ones I've stayed at before. Disclaimer: This weekend was a very quick weekend. If I had actually spoken to the wonderful staff about my issues, I'm SURE they would have helped me.

Bad location, loud, old, poorly maintained rooms. Loud AC

So one of ny critera wss a pool. Check in pool is under rennovation. Would not have booked. party of 5 no bedding for sofa bed, onoy two towels in rooom. Website said hair dryer in room no hair dryer. Desk did provide extra towels, bedding, and hair dryer upon request. No microwave in room. Free breakfast day of checkout had french toast and pancakes but when asked said out of sryup. Overall stay was ok but as i said no pool would have equaled no booking.

We were disappointed for being a Hyatt hotel. It was mediocre.

The a/c was very noisy the mattress seen to be very old and deformed

Sunday there was a tornado power went off and it was so hot no AC nothing

ok breakfast was great . room clean staff awesome

The hotel is nasty stains everywhere and roaches in the hallway. The bathroom wall paper torn phone did not work in room. Front desk Lorenzo was less than friendly and seemed more preoccupied with the game on the TV in the entry. Then after telling me he could not send the bedding for the pull out bed that was not provided in my room already that I was given keep in mind no A/C in the hallways I had to carry all this stuff alone no cart. Then when I ask for more pillows in the same conversation can now send pillows to my room? Horrible customer service please save your money but don’t say you were not warned. I’ll include the video of the roach in the hallway on their website so people can be safe.
