Pool The tv remotes didn’t work and my reservation was for 2:00 pm and the staff told me not until 3:00 pm so left and came back and room was not ready until 4:30 pm why ask for a reservation if personnel not going to have room available for that time?

I showed up to property one hour before check in to confirm reservation, but the woman at the desk said they didn’t receive my reservation. She said they had no rooms available and said she could not help me. I ended up renting a room at a different property.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the parking lot is small, if you get there late at night you don’t find parking and have to park away from hotel

The room was very clean. I noticed many reviews mention no mini fridge in the rooms but ours did. Not sure if that’s new or not. We didn’t need one as we just needed somewhere to sleep while we passed through. The breakfast had a large variety and was really good. The staff was very inattentive. Upon arrival after a very long road trip, I didn’t get so much as a good evening or hello. :( I had to stand there waiting on the front desk to even acknowledge me and they never did. I had to ask if I could check in since I was being ignored. Thought it was just the evening receptionist but the same thing happened in the morning. The other receptionist was talking with other staff and I approached politely without interrupting but they all just stopped talking and disbursed and the receptionist just kept looking down ignoring me. Not sure what the deal was or if it was just our luck. Other reviews said staff was very friendly but unfortunately this was not the situation for us. Acknowledging guests even if it’s a quick “one moment please” if you’re busy is best. Not having them stand there waiting to be acknowledged and it never happening. I had to ask to be attended both times at reception. I think we’ll stick to the quality inn for other piedras negras pass throughs. Their staff has always been friendly and welcoming.

Show me the breakfast was real good. They had several varieties of food that you normally don’t find in any other Quinta in Texas and people were very nice. Swimming pool we were able to enjoy it

Clean room. Big tv screen. Decent breakfast. Location on a busy, noisy thoroughfare. Slightly surly receptionist at check in.

The staff were friendly and responsive. The shower was clogged up with lots of hair on the strainer and would quickly start building up water even before you got in. That tells me that staff is not cleaning showers at all or very little. The reason I say that is because it didn’t take but seconds to see that the water was not going down the drain and start building up so if they would be cleaning the shower walls with some chemicals and water they would quickly see the problem. They did come by as soon as we told them and the maintenance person arrived. The person removed the Strainer basket and took out the room with some drops dripping on floor as he passed by. He did fix the problem. The other thing I didn’t like was when staff knock on door to see if we’re were in the room and check on the problem, she knocked once asked if anyone was inside, I was moving towards door to open and by time I get to door she had unclock the door and stepping inside. I thought that was too intrusive and needed to give us more time to answer and come to door to let them in.

The breakfast was good except for the coffee being quite weak. Other than that, it was good. The fruit, especially the papaya was so delicious!! It would have been nice to have a thicker blanket. With the AC on, the sheet and very thin blanket was not enough to stay comfortable through the night. Also, the room had a certain smell to it, not unbearable, but just old.

Was nice and clean

I really loved how being here made me feel safe because of how well lit everything was, and there was a security guard that was driving around and ensuring that everything was secure. There wasn’t anything that I did not like about the property. Everything was surprisingly extremely well and I will definitely be staying at this hotel in the future with my family.
