Travelodge by Wyndham Airport Platte City

Breakfast was a joke. The coffee wasn't made and all they had to eat was cold cereal and wrapped Little Debbie- type cinnamon rolls. Breakfast was not staffed and neither was check-out. The area around the motel was cement and gravel with many pot holes. The room was very run-down and dirty. When we turned on the room heat, there was a terrible oder that gagged us. We could not use the heater because of it. They advertised a pool but it was shut down, looked like it hadn't been up for a very long time, maybe never. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Poor

The bed was comfortable. The front desk clerk was super sweet and helpful. Needs alot of maintenance and updates. There was a 3/4 inch gap in the door that went outside. Paint chipping off the walls. Hard water stains in tub. Mold on walls and ceilings.

Location Na

Na

Cracked tub , rusted broken lights/outlets , missing outlet covers , car audio shop within a half a block ( loud bass) door was jammed ( hard to open )

For the price and just needing a place to rest while traveling it wasn't bad. Parking lot needs a lot of repair. The front desk lady at check in was friendly and polite.

Good

Enjoyed stay.

Exceptional

I'm a truck driver so having an area for truck and trailers was really nice. Not having a breakfast bar with hot food. The place was a little dated but ok.

Just don't. The bar for Wyndham was low, but this place puts it in the ground. I booked a room for one night to use up some old points I had remaining from pre-retirement. Sketchy 2nd building is weekly rentals to the usual suspects. Had to call 911 in the middle of the night to breakup an argument going on in the parking lot outside my window. At least one of them appeared to be a meth tweaker. The room was pretty filthy. Of course the pool is closed for perpetual maintenance. I could continue, but you get my point. If there were no other hotel rooms available, I'd drive another 100 miles to find one. For the positive; the AC worked well and it was very much needed.

Breakfast was minimal but fine. Smokey room, dead cockroach in room, room was gross/dirty, creepy people hung out around the hotel at all times, unsafe

Passable

Do not stay here. Creepy and did not feel safe. We cancelled the remainder of our stay and switched hotels.

Absolutely nothing. The staff, the room, it felt very unsafe, wasn’t clean.

The staff was extremely helpful in a lot of extra needs we had and we got everything for free.

Superb

This motel was okay. Nothing more nothing less. At first site seemed a bit sketchy. It turned out to be a place to lay my head. Nothing special about it. Was a bit run down. The only completely negative thing was they have smoking rooms and I got stuck with one and it was awful!
